Fun with IR cam for under 120€ analysing tool

For anybody thinking like me that InfraRed cams are very expensive, not anymore! I bought a HT-203U smartphone usb-c extended IR cam and it works great.
So many things can be studied, from your home's insulation, to electronic/electric repairs, combustion engines, all kinds of heat images : (please let me know what you think of this subject, I see lots of people read but don't respond, which is a pitty and does not motivate at all to continue)

The forum is not dead, it's just winter. There are actually mobile phones that have ir camera on board. I have an Ulefone that has it, and i use it all the time. Like checking isolation of the house, checking the floor heating, or how my 4 cylinder Ursus tractor is behaving after a really cold start. Just recently i found a really bad (warming up) electrical connection in a friend's house. There are tons of useful tasks for ir camera.

Interesting video. I have been tempted to get one of the infrared cameras for my phone. We used them in the fire dept many years ago when they were thousands of $$$, and very high tech for the time.
