I let my tractor rest until temps warm up in a few days. Also, buying it a new chipper to 'play with' in a few weeks.

That is a great idea!!!👍🏻
I have a portable jump start battery with 2 clamps. It's easy to clamp on and start... Tractor has a usb plug (and phone holder) the usb plug has a voltmeter in it (Amazon) I can see the battery voltage easily and know when it will need a charge or worse, a jump. But it's simple to do now.

I keep telling myself I'm gonna buy a 'direct to battery' volt meter on the old Kubota. The 6x4 and the JD Buck ATV likewise. But I don't want a digital or LED light bar as they are too slow - I want a small analog where I can see the starter draw load to the battery. Something like a 3/4 x 1.5 rectangular face. Weatherproof of course.

I haven't found one yet that doesn't cost as much as a new shop.

There are MANY cheap little waterproof digital voltmeters that will fit the bill. Just search Amazon and ensure you find a 2 wire waterproof meter in the voltage range needed. I've used these for years on golfcarts. One meter spent 6 yrs outdoors and still worked when I sold the cart. Be aware LED can be hard to read in direct sunlight. Here is what I put on my tractor.

I put one of those in my drag car years ago, what a great addition. I’m thinking about getting one for the Kioti, now that you mentioned it, thanks scootr.👍🏻

It dawned on me that the soft cab from my Wheelhorse (which I no longer use to snowblow) would fit my Kioti, so I got to work fabricating some brackets to make the change. The wind really started picking up (50-60+ mph gusts today) but I should be able to finish tomorrow.

Finished up yesterday's project - put the old soft cab from the Wheelhorse on the Kioti. Had to weld up some different brackets and cut a few inches off the rear legs. Fits great. The right side is wrinkled from being folded up in storage, hopefully it'll smooth out.
