You Know You Are Old When

/ You Know You Are Old When #6,991
When I hooked up with my wife, we were together 10 years, then divorce. In that time I got up to 235 at 5' 8". Around 33 years old decided to loose weight, started with 12 sit ups.

Finally I was exercising for 40 minutes every work day and got up to 140 sit ups. I allowed myself to pig out one day a week. I starting eating normal meals, which was the problem before (2nd and 3rd helpings), she was a good cook. I lost 55 lbs in 1 1/2 years.

Retirement is hard to keep the weight off, especially with my osteo arthritis.

Obsolescence is a choice…

What’s old is new again is often the case in fashion.

Duesenberg and Packards were once sold for scrap…

And with some of the computers on wheels In dealing with today it’s good for business as long as I’m not paying.

Can’t tell you how many LG upscale refrigerators only lasted a few years…
We have a LG fridge as a second in the garage, only a few years old, that was given to us because the ice maker could not be made to work, even with an updated replacement kit. Not to be racist, but I do not trust Korean machines that have moving parts. Electronics, yes, I think theirs are very good.
There is a flooring store in Grass Valley that must have been a Packard dealer in the past -

We have a food pantry that was a Studebaker dealership.

That neon sign is worth a fortune.
