Why doesn't a TC30 have any down force on the loader boom arms?

Maybe he has a loader with 2 positions (power or height) and sometimes if the loader is in the height position, it’s not well suited for lifting the tractor up because it sacrifices power for lifting height.

Ive never seen a tractor without down pressure. Are you sure your not pushing lever too far forward and pushing it into float mode
No, not in float mode.

It should have down force. It should lift the front wheels off the ground
With boom arms down you can curl the bucket and lift the front wheels off the ground. I have owned 2 TC30's a 2008 geared and this 2004 HST and both the same way.

When the boom arms are "down", are the cylinders completely retracted? If so, you just don't have any more travel for that cylinder. If you put a jackstand or railroad tie or some kind of block under the bucket -- then will the FEL lift the front?

I had aTC30 25 years ago with plenty of down pressure. Lots of unanswered questions in your brief posts. How long you owned it, factory or aftermarket, and on and on.

Better yet, curl the bucket so it's facing straight down while the loader is up. Then lower the boom arms. Does it raise the front end off the ground? I'm not at all convinced that you actually have a problem.

You might have to put transmission in neutral or drive ahead slightly while lowering to lift front wheels.

My Branson is occasionally this way due to tractor must roll forward for front to lift.

No more travel in cylinders. Bucket on a 2' high stump and boom arms will not lift tractor off the ground.

I have a stump that is 2 feet high, I can set the bucket on the stump and boom will not lift front wheels off the ground. I can put boom all the way down and then curl the bucket and it will lift the front wheels off the ground. I have had 2 New Holland TC30's a 2008 and this one a 2004 and both of them have no down force on the boom. I also have a 2000 Kubota L2500 it has plenty of down force. I have owned tractors with fel for around 7 years.
With engine off and release pressure on boom cylinders and bucket at a flat level position the bucket will not rest on the concrete shop floor, it rest about 1-1\2" above the floor.
I also replaced boom cylinder seals last week as when I put boom all the way down and curled the bucket the boom would rise instead of raising the tractor off the ground.
The old red seal on the right cylinder was torn. Now the curl will lift the tractor and the boom arms stay down. It works as it should except no boom arm down force.

The photos I've just looked at show hydraulic cylinders with hoses connected to both ends of the loader arm cylinders.

Is yours that way? Or could someone have put single action cylinders on it, with only one hose?
