Low beam, not sure of the reasoning. Yea, we drive about 35 mph on the last mile to our house, that's where I have to override the auto low beam.I'll admit I don't stay in hotels that often, but will a couple times a year, most recently in Sept. Never have I run into this. Card as door key, but that's it.
One time about a year ago when I went to my room the tv was on with a welcome message for the person who'd booked the room (it was a work-related trip).
When you say dim, do you mean low beam or does it automatically reduce the headlights' output?
What's the reasoning behind this? Are they assuming that if you're going under 35 you're probably in town where there are street lights? Not just deer/moose/other wildlife, but some of the back roads around here are so rough you don't really want to go much over 35 anytime.
