Good Tractor Morning,
Punta Cana, 80 to start going to 85. Perfectly clear skies now. Looks to be this way for next couple of days.

Nice dinner with the grands last night , then we went down to the beach bar for a cocktail with friends.

Almost time to go on our daily walk around the complex and then breakfast. Tough schedule that it is.
Drawback is the waistline is increasing

40F showers/rain most of the day might reach 50F.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...critter food run, need about an hours blow leaves from roadside ditch and lawn before noon,afternoon rattle some pots pans make Shepards pie than see what the rest of the day offers.

Good morning tbn! About 20 here at camp Covington this am with just a dusting of snow overnight. Seems in all directions from us, much more was received and that's ok with us. We head home this afternoon and home to get things done beforehand. Our freind who also owns a camp installed a cell booster and we'll need to look into those. Yesterday we did get another section cleared and even grabbed some firewood. Also making a covered drying area.

Nothing was found with our 6x6 and the droning noise went away. All I did to it was wash the mud off it.

Billy, I have not used the vertical mode in quite some time but it sure is nice to have when the occasion arrives

I think vertical mode is what tore my muscles up. Rolling splits was a little harder than I thought and just the moves to get them to the splitter was not something I was use to.

but firemen know about getting up in middle of the night...
while he watches the snow come down in his back yard at home.

Riptides, I agree, almost got a hernia screwing with a huge log I tried to horse around
in the vertical mode.
always lusted, truly lusted for a Northern Tools honda powered log splitter with
a hydraulic lift for the logs. I know a few of you have made your own.

Neil at Messicks took home the next step up, a true "wood processor", log splitter on steroids with
those cool six and eight way blades. Log lift for sure.

Good morning! We had a freeze warning for this morning and it got close, 32.7˚F. The coldest for this Fall. I did cover the Meyer lemon bush, the lemons are just starting to turn yellow. Heading to the 60s with a light North wind and cloudless skies. Can't tell if we have frost still too dark outside, but we did not get down to the dew point temp of 26˚.

Touch up painting the bathroom today.

good morning, 37 going to 49 wind gusts are still with us and leaves are blowing around

Not much accomplished yesterday except a nice relaxing day. Did work a little with the shop setup. Table given couple coats of polyurethane and shelf mounted above it. Need to look for Tapcon screws to screw the feet to the floor

GD called to interview us. Seems she has a class project about family history. She said she will send us the essay when done. Should be interesting

Getting close to setting up to split wood soon. The setup works well with the hydraulic lift and high cycle speeds. Normally only run the engine at half speed since it is plenty fast for me. Big logs I use the excavator to grab them. Saves on the back
