Good morning!!!!

Good Morning to All Who Celebrate! Currently 56° with a smattering of rain, looks like more forecasted for later this week. Glad I re-covered the log splitter for the time being.

Weekend ended up being backwards. Realtor called on Friday, his son was in the hospital in Philly, asked if we could reschedule for Sunday. I'm not heartless, so of course I agreed, instructed him that I would miss 100 houses if it meant taking a father away from a sick son.

Then Grandma called, she and my aunt went up to the cabin to shut down for the winter, blow down the water and generally close up. She's also got a doctors appointment since she managed to overextend her hip trying to climb up on a beam after her other grandson. Said she heard something snap and can't walk more than 15 minutes. Of course, this happened back in August and she's only dealing with it now...grrr....

Long and short of it, she wasn't bringing the brush out. I said that's fine. So I ended up doing a bit of tractoring around since I hadn't used the Kubota since my trip. Mashed down some of the goldenrod that was extending into the trails. Also sharpened and fired up both saws.

Sunday, a long drive up north to look at the house. Problem is that what I would classify as Grandma dwellings are coming available and just aren't worth what their children think, especially without gas rights. Actually another one came on the market that struck my interest more. It's closer to a major interstate, so my commute would be more direct. Girlfriend likes both, so the decision is up to me. Realtor's son is also doing better, the Doctors finally have an idea and they're getting him on the right track.

Oh, I also get the Lipoma sliced off this Thursday or else I'm taking it off with a penknife myself. They double booked last Thursday. So sorry. I should have charged them a $250 rescheduling fee.

Parents rode out the storm down south. Ocean was angry but the skies were clear. They'll probably return on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Otherwise, just the usual Monday craziness here. Another trip for work tomorrow and then hopefully a break from all this travel.

Y'all Stay Safe out there and Be well!
Prayers for all Ailing and Recovering!

friend just emailed me saying my rv site at the Delaware Shore campground was now shut down and under water.
My timing was pretty good.
It's a little rammy down that way Drew. But I've seen worse.

Good Morning
53° grey, damp and misting outside with a high in the middle 50’s and continued gloom forecast.

Accomplishments for the weekend were to clean up and hang up RC planes, some have been dormant for 25 years or more. Kept the 3D printer running continuously making hangers.

Took the drone up to take some pictures of the place. Have to do it again when it’s sunny.
Made a Costco run with wife, son and DIL, pretty much filled the car, got some nice steaks I grilled in the rain for dinner.

3D printed holder for Knipex pliers, a ratchet for 1/4” bits and some slots for Swiss Army knife toothpick and tweezers. This is hopefully going to be my ultimate pocket multi tool. It’s lighter than the Gerber it replaces, and more useable, higher quality tools.

Here’s the whole “compound”

I think today will be a repeat of the weekend, lots of messes to remediate in the shop, and it seems like every one creates a project of its own in the process.
Lol, I was planning to send you the data for printing just such a thing. I saw it over the weekend and thought you may like it. Yours looks good.

I think I would have put the ratchet in from the top like that. Less chance of it getting loose
Looks great though!

Was just getting the trash and recyclables together for a dump run when I realized it's closed for Columbus Day. Glad I didn't load it all into the truck.
Did almost the same but I went to dump sign on gate CLOSED  25 mile round trip ride.

“Who ever heard of a dump closed on Columbus Day? But with tears in our eyes, we drove around looking for another place to dump our garbage. “

Don’t worry, officer Obie has passed on, don’t worry about those 27 8x10 full color glossy photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one describing what it means, to be used as evidence against you.
