What is it with all the distracted driver lately.

Therein lies the problem. Just what humane punishment would be proportionate to inflict on a drunk driver with multiple convictions, no license or insurance, that kills a family in a traffic accident?
That person needs to be removed from society, permanently, by one method or another.

Also, the law went into effect 6/5/2025, but they are only going to give warnings (no tickets) until 6/5/2026.
I wonder how many people will get killed or maimed over the next 365 days ....

At a local shopping center, seems we have cars in stores at least 2x per year.
Different stores each time.
This is a cookie place, luckily no one was hurt.

As a person that regularly drives a truck and trailer, I doubt the trucks are at total blame. People have no respect for stopping distances, heck most of them cant possibly use mirrors when changing lanes

So far each one has been a "hit the gas" thinking it was the brakes.

We had one in the same shopping center a few years ago that drove up a tree and flipped the car on it's roof.
That takes skill!

We have a lot of elderly drivers that aren’t distracted in the true sense of the word because they lack the ability to be tracted.
Kroger is the worse place to encounter them.
I feel for them because many older people either dont have children close by to help or their kids dont care. Cant understand the latter.
