The bolt has a shoulder that fits inside a splined collar that in turn fits inside cupped washers and then the blade. Torqued to 90 Ft lbs.
Experimented today with hitting the torque with the M18 Milwaukee impact using number 2 setting. It over torqued to 120 ft lbs. Redid it manually

Before and after applying a coat of anti-slip to the floor on the verandah. (Don't want to do a Holly). You are supposed to see no difference. Was 101 when we finished yesterday. Second coat is on and will need to dry for 72 hours. Today we had cooling off shower about an hour ago which gave us 1/3" rain and Cool down to 88˚.

Good morning! Cold outside at 64˚F heading to 100˚. Today is the coldest and hottest day this July. I need to trim some hedges while it is cool this morning.

Can anyone recommend a power pruner with extension pole? I need to buy one.

Also on the agenda put a coat of no-slip on the outdoor travertine.
I have a Skil pole saw that I work the heck out of. Bought it with a coupon a while back for not much.
Is it built to DeWalt or Makita standards? No.
Does the battery take longer to charge because the charger doesn't have a fan? Yes, so extra batteries are important for long pruning/trimming sessions.
Is the ability to change the angle of the saw relative to the pole essential? Perhaps not, but when you need it, boy is it useful.

Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat. It is lightweight, comes with an Oregon chain that cuts really well, and it is light enough that I don't mind having the extension in.

I also bought the matching chainsaw (extra batteries), and while it won't replace my Stihl, I use it a lot more often because
a) I'm not worried about igniting dry grass or saw dust,
b) it is very light, and
c) it stops almost instantly, so I don't mind waving it about pruning branches as they go into the chipper.

Congratulations on the antislip surfacing; when you first posted it, I couldn't tell the difference, and I couldn't figure out what was afoot...🤣

All the best,

Peter

Get yourself a 90ft/lb torque stick. Then you can leave the impact on high and just hammer till it stops.

I have a 10 piece kit at work that goes from 60ft/lbs to 150 ftlbs.

No SWM here as long as you don't cover more than a certain percentage of your lot.
I think all the towns have different percentages. Was same in NJ.
The SWM ponds we saw going in were for town houses and large neighborhoods.
I've only seen community ones, this plat shows a 150 ft x 30 ft SWM basin, with a dry well required for each house. The part I don't like is the township says they can come and inspect any time they want, and inspection is required if a 1" rainfall. I don't like where this could go. It appears to be that particular township that has these rules.

With that said, We drove past the lot today. For the one house already built, I did not see a SWM basin where the plat says it should be. maybe it was moved to behind the house. I did see a sand mound septic. I had asked the Realtor about what type of septic got approved, all he did was send be documents with perc test numbers, nothing to interpret the numbers as to the type of system needed. There are actually 2 lots, each approx 4.6 acres, set back behind 3 houses on the road. The open field of the 2 lots just had small pine trees planted everywhere. Why would they plant trees right before selling lots? We also drove back past several posted signs, again, if selling, why would you have those up?

We also drove past a 13 acre lot much further away, really out of the area we would like to stay in. It has magnificent view. really nice, but rather far away. The agent for it was unaware of any SWM requirement (different county), but also couldn't give answer on type of septic field required based on the perc. This lot 100% clear, former field. Downside is a gas line (main, not distribution to houses) running up the side of the lot, on the lot, and need to build 75 ft away from it. plenty of room, but really more land than we need. Bottom half of this pic, red circle build location, blue line driveway.

Dang..... thats a good question. I went down a rabbit hole and could only come up with a 30lb and 40lb extension for 3/8 drive.

Might have to do with the amount of flex on the smaller diameter extension

Now i'm gonna have to ask the "Tool Man" snap-on on Monday when he comes by for his weekly knee breaking session.
