I am looking for a 6' dozer blade with tilt function for my 2520, any suggestions?

Is this considered the JD snowplow blade ? Or something that is custom made ? Maybe referred to as a 6-way blade ?
Any photo's of what you have in mind?

JD sold a 54" blade for that machine, but there are longer ones available like these:

You'll still need the JD quick attach setup with angling cylinder, there is no real aftermarket kit for that.

Here are some part numbers:

I was told that there is such a thing as a 6" "dozer" blade that will fit on this tractor. Can I have a diverter valve installed on the control valve body so I can toggle between angle & tilt functions?

Well don't know who told you that...but no. It is for snow, not dirt work as the name 'dozer blade' would imply. Guess you didn't really read my reply.

Yes a diverter can be added. Kits can be bought or it can be brewed. Hours of reading if you search the term 'diverter' in the Hydraulics forum.

Are you asking about a loader mounted plow blade? Thats a different animal.

What ever you do don’t get the John Deere snow blade thinking you could use it to push dirt. Those are not designed to push dirt.

Thanks for the tip. That's kind of why I'm looking for a 6' dirt blade with tilt. I figure I could get a diverter valve installed and toggle between tilt & and angel.

You can also buy an "extension kit" for this blade that makes it a 72 inch blade:

When JD describes their "snow blades" they usually say something like "meant for moving snow, gravel, dirt or other loose material" which leads to some confusion about whether is can be used as a "dozer blade". But I think we can assume it could be used for spreading loose material without breaking anything, just not moving giant rocks or breaking new ground.
