One of my friends bought a JD 1025R are they the same seat?

Yes, both the 1025R and 2025R use the 260B backhoe. Seat clearances might be a bit different though due to the different frame size - I'm not sure. I might just order one and see if I can make it work if they have a good return policy.

Just slip fit no tools to put it on.

I have one. The mounting system principle you came up with for your seat might also work for mounting a tool box when the backhoe seat isn’t needed.

My wife said she has not given up on find one of these I can look at.

And I really appreciate that! Like I say, worse case scenario I can just buy the seat from you and have my local welder figure out how to mount it where he can have the tractor right there in front of him.

But if you figure it out I'm sure you'll be able to sell a bunch to the Kubota crowd too.

I also have and like your left side grab handle. I was disappointed that you didn't have one for the right side, so I bought a second left hand one and had a local sheet metal shop bend it mirror-image. It does require that you drill a new hole through the thick loader upright (ugh!), but well worth it. Something for you to consider ...

Oh, have your Sentinel guard too.

Edit: I had to drill a new hole in the grab handle too, but that was a lot easier than the one in the upright.

If you find yourself wanting something like the right grab handle we do not offer, contact us. We are a very small company we can usually work with you.

When we make Grab Handles we cut out a whole sheet steel but could easily bend a right handle for you.

can attest these guys good to work with. the sentinel NOT supposed to fit GC2400 but with a little mod to factory u-bracket it does work and they included instructions and possible issues with kit.
did have to trim the long plate a bit to avoid mid mower shaft bump when fully lifted but this was item they warned me about.
and fan and filter protected.

With your feedback we have a modified fan and PTO to make the GC2400 and GC2300 fit better. You still need a factory U bracket but it should be a simpler install.

What I "use" to do is spin the seat to the BH position, then when I needed to move the TLB a few feet, I'd just lift the stabilizers, get off, lift the bucket, standing up "drive" it forward 5'-6' then drop the bucket, get back on ...

When I bought mine, I had the dealer show me how it worked, even he made it look clumsy! I always wore gloves when swivelling it, a good way to pinch your fingers!

Mines been shipped, I should be home in a few days, hopefully it's waiting for me ... Not that I have any BH projects for it yet, but nice to have when the occasion arises!
