Heads up on the 4 axle O-rings you need to rebuild the both sides. If the metal O-ring retainer is not damaged, order these for about a buck a piece....generic O-ring part number 568-333.... 70 Duro(hardness....don't get the 90):

Kioti wants $15each for them....crazy..... & their part number is T4818-4345 1002

A small victory, but I'll take it~

Number 4 in this diagram:

I meant to write this sooner but just got to it now.

The left front bearing on my 2011 DK35 SE failed much as described in post #1 in April 2024 with 2,029 hours on the tractor. It took out the ring and pinion gears and the wheel casing.

One of the bearings migrated to the right side and damaged the ring and pinion gears there but they did not need replacement. They did replace the seals and wheel bearings.

The total was around $3,000 cdn. but included hauling, other service, and a repair to the stearing column hydraulics.

The sad thing is, I recall I noticed a small bit of oil on the left front bearing area prior to the failure and planned to look into it. On the day it failed I noticed the leak was worse and resolved to get it checked after digging a 6' long, 6" deep swale at the back of the carport. It was not heavy work but the bearing popped and front wheel seized for a second and then broke loose. I was able to drive it 50' back to the tractor shed on level ground but that likely allowed the loose ball bearing to migrate to the other axle.

I think Billrog gives good advice in post #6 of this thread.

I have been meaning to fill a 55ga drum with crete for a 3 point CW.....have not done it yet and yes, any leak must be fixed asap. I do remember a round bale twine coming & off dragging the ground from the FEL, damned if it didn't wrap around the front axle. The way they seal, twine could easily get in there and cause damage, so for those haying it's something to pay attention to....

I built a cement ballast out of a heavy 55 gallon plastic drum for doing heavy lifting with my loader. It works great without restricting your movement around trees or other obstacles.

I have had a slightly weeping left front wheel seal for about a year on my NX4510HST that has 1765 hours on it. When I say weeping, that is what I mean. That wheel had no bearing play in it at all. I ordered up all the parts and changed the left side only for now. The bearings had no play in them when removed. This was a simple swap out the bearings and two seal halves and install the assembly. I'm not sure as to why a wheel with no up and down play would leak at the hub. There is a common bearing that you can use instead of the high priced Kioti bearings. I believe the outer is a 6309 and the inner is a HC6208. I will have to check to be sure if anyone wants to know. These bearings are deep groove bearings. I found two new SKF 6309's on Ebay for just under $40 shipped. I found two new Kioti inner bearings on Ebay. One was just over $50 shipped. The other was $23 shipped. The seal kits were $186 shipped. Total cost was less than 50% of dealer parts.

My tractor wasn't out of commission. Immediately purchasing them wasn't necessary. My nearest dealer is an hour away. Your tractor and mine both use the same front end.

I'm thinking about doing the same. How was your oil when you changed it? I noticed a light silver color when pouring it out.

What was left looked real clean. When it let loose, i was about 100’ from shop. All oil soaked the ground.
