Hot, going to real hot. Glad days are getting shorter.

Scotty, Kathleen looks like she is in paradise on that deck...Pinot Grigio?

Glad you got Precious back home, Buppies.

Our internet is down...modem died , just days before we are switching to fiber. Long story.

Got grass mowed and string trimming done before the rain hit Thursday afternoon, so looked good when son and DIL came over yesterday for a cookout. Son helped me put up a new deerstand in the woods. Only got 1 tick...better than the 13 Della and I got in the mountains Wednesday. Unfortunately didn't find this one until 3am when he had a good hold of me.

Stay cool!

Good Morning,
Vt, 54 to start going to 78. The as Thomas said the 3 H’s coming to town 😉. Got the lawn mowed early evening but now I have clumps of grass all over 🥲 So clean up in my future along with unloading the back of my truck with a load of Trex.
Route 8 was partially closed before I could get on the Mass Pike yesterday, and all the Trex started to slide out of the back of the truck on the detour they made us take.
Didn’t realize it until I got to Vermont. But at $31 a length I’m glad I didn’t lose any 😁.

She came back with the 2 red umbrellas I was looking for
RS, glad they had what you wanted, it never hurts to ask.
Scotty, Kathleen looks like she is in paradise on that deck...Pinot Grigio?
Billy, you hit the nail on the head. Or you have real good eyesight 😉
Something magical about this place on an evening like last night, we feel like we are on top of the world here 🙏❤️

Plans for today, clean grass clippings up and unloading truck into the barn and probably a pontoon ride on the Lake St. Catherine.

Hope all have a blessed and safe day 🙏 Oh, and you might notice little fawn Bambie walking around behind my barn 😉

good morning, 71 going to 87 with hot weather the next few days

Wife is struggling again at the end of the period before next infusion thankfully coming up next week

Mainly supporting wife but did get the boots cleaned with saddle soap and greased soaking it in to the leather using the heat gun.
The Nicks boots were dropped off at the Mennonite cobbler place to get new heels. The leather repair shop with its large table in the middle with a multitude of tools and repairs in progress brings back memories.
The 6 inch Redwing boots will be dropped off for resole at the Redwing shop next time we go to town
The 4 inch Redwings are OK

Good morning
77° already, high around 90. Another day without rain.
Hopefully it will continue to dry up so that I can hook up the progressive and get some mowing done. The new tire needs a test.

Yesterday’s trip went pretty well a batch of small delays, but nothing systemic. Mostly just herding all the cats in and out of the plane and loading all the luggage, car seats and strollers, as half the load was young kids including 7 month old twins. Lots of weather in Florida, typical air mass thunderstorms, a bit of a bumpy ride on the descent.

These will likely be showers late in the day, but not a pleasant ride through them. Fortunately we were on top of it all for the majority of the flight. The ride home we were empty, and had a smooth ride at 45,000 feet.

Got home in time to play music with about an hour to spare.
I see that the ATV winch for my project was delivered, along with a new Optrel welding helmet, so I’m looking forward to getting to the shop this morning, I will mow later in the day, it will be dryer, but hotter. Fortunately, the Kubota AC works very well.
