I think I read somewhere that the stunt was done elsewhere before, and licensed to the James Bond syndicate. And it said something about being the first stunt to use computer simulations to get it down before doing the real deal.

AMC Javelin also did barrel roll exhibitions but the Hornet was first in the movies.

One take and nailed it… driver sat in the middle of the car with steering modified to center also.

The engine was moved back some to achieve desired center of gravity.

Ha! I get that every time I look at a picture of myself age 42 and younger.

I texted a coworker, who is a recent college grad, about plans for the week and asked if it was raining where he was. When he answered in the affirmative I wrote back
"PITA".
