TZ 25 DA
Hello, my 2005 TZ25DA has 676 hours on it. Bought new. Last fall put in fresh fuel, changed secondary filter. Primary filter changed several years ago at about 380 hours. Tractor used this past winter for several snow removals and today started fine, running well and then died. Tried restarting and engine fired, but would not stay running. Acted like it was starving for fuel. Engine shaking and dies. Unfortunately loader is attached. Any suggestions appreciated on the starting/running problem and how to remove the loader when engine won't run, to get at the engine area etc. Thanks. Tom

Crud in the bottom of the fuel tank blocking the flow? Just a guess.

Time to change that primary filter again would be another guess. Fuel starvation possibility and a "several year old" primary filter???

I agree, change the fuel filters, that’s it 9 out of 10 times. Next would be to check that the fuel pump is running. It often makes a clicking sound if you turn the key on but don’t start it.

Can you see anything but clean fuel in filter housing?

Check the air filter for a mouse nest.
