Be careful with these, NY is changing laws due to fire fatalities.
What gets me, if this thing is not vaporware, is how the Chinese can afford to ship a 90lb Ebike by air with a 14lb. explosive battery? The fuel burned to ship 90 lbs. by air must be +$50? That and Li-Ion batteries catching fire on airplanes is risky. How can China sell for $402.99 and make any profit, unless it is some subsidized plot to make us all useless and take over the world? Bring on the tariffs.

PS, It is vaporware

I ordered 3 EV's recently over the last 6 weeks. E-bikes that is. I have been price/spec./feature shopping ever since my wife wanted one mostly for transportation adventure while camping and just to putt about our rural roads.

There is something going on with Amazon.com and E bikes.

The first one I ordered was oddly low priced at $379 with free freight.

Amazon.com: Funhang Electric Bike for Adults, Peak 1000W Ebike, 25MPH 60Miles Electric Mountain Bike, 26" Fat Tire Adult Electric Bicycle with 48V 13AH Battery, Rear Rack, 7 Speed, Front Suspension, Turn Signal
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSVYB4G...id=I3C1ONPK18O66&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_pab

It was shipped thru “China Freight”, (not very inspiring)

The E-Bike never showed up, yet tracking the Ebike, it was stated it was delivered on March 15.

After a call to Amazon my account was credited.

If you go on Amazon this is closest replacement, but has a $220 freight charge!

So I kept shopping on Amazon over the next few weeks and was order this for $526. It had a 10% discount that would not apply, so I called Amazon. They supplied a code, and then when I tried to reorder the Price went up to $699, so I would have been better to have ordered at the $526 price.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5B935T...IPN9DTDXB&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

Then yesterday I found this and ordered for $402.99.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2NVRVYK?smid=A3E2JF549OH4OY&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp.

I checked later in day and it was up to $999. I just checked today 3/30/25 and it is back down to $402.99??

I tracked the package and again it is supposedly shipping by “China Post” , but I will not get my hopes up.

I will call Amazon and request that this be a signed at receipt delivery and that they document delivery with photos.

PS
Hear is a review of the bike.

Be careful with them and don't leave them plugged in a long time as they seem to catch on fire quite a bit. Not something we are interested in. If we want to go 'putting' around on the unpaved roads out here, we get out the side by side instead. Little chance of it catching on fire either since it has a gas engine.

State Farm was the best price I could find. They carry my home and vehicle policies. When combined with discounts for home, multiple cars, good driver, old guy, etc discounts they were considerably lower than Tesla insurance rates.
One thing people forget and that is, your insurance rates are based a lot on your credit score...

And 10 other things like driving record, location, and projected mileage, deductible, liability, etc.
Funny when I applied for Tesla insurance they wanted to know how many years of driving experience I had. They called me to ask if 55 yrs was an entry error. :p

Got a 20 inch Hushy Rancher 455, Chainsaw for under 500 dollars. 100 dollars off normal. Needed something a bit bigger than the 18 Paulan Wild Thing that has served me well, but can't do the bigger stuff left from the ice storm which we in this area, are still dealing with.

None issue here. Clean license forever and that includes 30+ years of driving big trucks, no tickets ever. Wasn't aware Tesla even offered insurance frankly. Our auto insurance is bundled with our farm policy anyway but auto insurance here in Michigan is high anyway because of the 'no fault' crap.

I think I will charge the battery in the electrical shed and store the Ebike in our cheapest fabric shelter. Still scary as we keep the Polaris ATV and some expensive implements in there!
Anyone else have an Ebike?
I ordered a skateboard helmet plus a carry bag for the fender rack. Figure I will not need my full face Shoei. Might wear Kevlar jeans.
This bike in the video below truely cheats the line between a motorcycle and a bicycle. 5 hp and 150lbs.
I can see regulation and licensing come real soon for these "bicycles"
Some states require you to register an e-bike officially with the authorities before you’re legally allowed to ride them on the roads – these states are Alabama, Hawaii, Louisiana, Alaska, Massachusetts, New Mexico, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

Well at least my old Suzuki GSX1100G is still bigger and faster.
