Spring time is not my favorite time brings on allergies but at least now they only bother me in spring

Buppies, I have to take an antihistamine daily for allergies, sure know when I forget to take it.

buzzed off my beard, that felt better. It either needed a good trim or adios and I decided on later.

headed out in a little bit, sunny but not so warm. I see a squirrel has wrecked one of the feeders so need to fix that.
I'm on my daily hunt for the first forsythia bloom. I think a snowdrop is about to show up too.

Phil, that's terrible about the lathe, what a let down.
there is a fairly new woodworking shop a few miles away on the main road heading to Lahaska that I've never stopped in.
sounds like a good spot to go wander around in.

Other than a great trip to transfer station and and piddling about the tractor shed, nothing very productive years. Oh, did get dog’s area mowed.
Hope to continue mowing today.

Drew I just need to pick up some more hard to do. Things are not blooming yet here at all and snow shows up next Sunday. When the cold breaks it’s going to get hot quick I’m afraid.

worked on onloading the rv for a while, not sure where to put all this stuff, likely organized down in basement
for "next one". Have to run a lot of loads of wash, both dishes and towels.
that will keep me off the streets, out of the bars and out of trouble.

I noticed this morning that fuel oil tank in basement was just nudging under half and figured any day
now the fuel company would show up. and sure enough this afternoon I hear the clunking and the whistle,
138 gallons delivered, about half a tank
leaves 12 dollar credit in my prebuy account. Can't get much closer than that.

my mind is willing but my feet aren't. Might have to get lazy and read book for little while,
hopefully get a nap, then out again maybe when day at warmest. and maybe not

tomorrow my car is at a local garage getting a new battery and a radiator hose, so I'll be stuck at home
tomorrow so decided to finish job then.
once everything is out, and I'm getting close, need to wash the floors.
no sense rushing into that...have to remember to wash my way out the front door

Decided to pick up a couple PT line posts at HD, 2 PT cost same as 1 locust post up in PA. Just not gonna get up to PA this week, as I have something every day. Ate at Raising Cane Chicken for first time, sandwich was ok but messy, fries not good. Took back backroad home as they were paving one place on the way. Good thing I was crawling thru the paving zone, one worker just suddenly crossed road right in front of me.
Didn't feel like planting the post yet, maybe tomorrow. 41 deg and sunny out.
did get my 10 miles in on the bike. pellet stove humming, cats both sleeping, I'm about to doze off.......

Trying to plan a trip out west, maybe in May. found out things are still snowed in up north that time of year, so might have to rethink. Want to hit Neb, N Dakota, Idaho, Oregon. Will visit friend in southern Wash state.
