make sure you have the height for it, I would have bought the lift 10 years ago, if i didn't have to raise the roof 10 feet to support it.
I will be putting in a new garage after the house is done, so I can be certain to have enough clearance, at least in the center.

Several years ago I built a 24' x 24' addition to our garage. I bought Harbor Freight framing nailer, palm nailer and roofing nailer and figured the cost into the budget I had for the addition. They were all inexpensive and worked great. The few hundred $$ I spent on all three more than offset the cost in time and wear on my body VS me hand pounding 10,000+ nails.

And.... they all worked great! I still get them out for the occasional project.

Welcome my mule brother. I have a 2012 transaxle 4010 diesel. LOVE it. If it dies I plan to get another one. My wife has declared we must too... She drives it more than I do which is a lot.
I also have a 2012 4010 trans. I'm going to sell it since I bought this new one with 1000 cc engine. It's hard to chase cows with a 4010 that will only run about 23-24 if you're lucky ! LOL

Yup mine is limited at about the same speed.

Hmmmm. Where you at? How many hours/miles on it? Is it diesel or gas? I'm hooked on the diesel ones.

it's gas I looked at the diesel in the fxt models and they don't run any faster than mine. It had a little over 1600 hrs on it. Just had the dealer replace the belt and a new shift cable.. Does your's grind a little when going into high gear ? Every one I have seen grinds a little (whit age) when going into high gear .

Oldsmobile V8-Powered 1959 AC Ace: A Glimpse Into "What If?"

Oldsmobile V8-Powered 1959 AC Ace feature

Oldsmobile V8-Powered 1959 AC Ace feature

This 1959 AC Ace is no ordinary classic. It's got some incredible history. The Ace was traditionally powered by a six-cylinder Bristol (AC engine), but this car here was transformed into something a little more radical by an SCCA racer by the name of Jerry in the '60s. Jerry swapped the stock engine for a 215ci Oldsmobile V8 mated to a Corvette transmission. The lightweight British sports car was transformed into a roaring, V8-powered beast with American muscle DNA.

The current version of this Ace, meticulously refurbished between 2013 and 2018, stays true to its 1960s spirit, and its aluminum 215ci Oldsmobile V8 engine is a beautiful relic of the past, featuring aluminum cylinder heads and an Edelbrock carburetor. Paired with a four-speed General Motors Saginaw manual transmission, this Ace delivers performance Shelby himself admired. Add front disc brakes, independent suspension, and gorgeous 16-inch wire wheels, and this car becomes the perfect blend of British athleticism and American power.
This is the closest we will ever get to imagining what a Cobra would have looked like if Carroll Shelby went the GM route. This could have been the blueprint for an entirely different kind of American performance car?

Oldsmobile V8-Powered 1959 AC Ace Highlights

  • 215ci Oldsmobile V8 engine, featuring an aluminum block and cylinder heads.
  • Originally modified for SCCA racing in the 1960s by Jerry S. who replaced the stock engine with the Oldsmobile V8 and Corvette transmission for competitive performance.
  • Equipped with front disc brakes, 16-inch wire wheels, Lucas fog lamps, dual exhaust outlets, and a black soft top, blending classic style with modern upgrades.
  • Paired with a General Motors Saginaw four-speed manual transmission, along with four-wheel independent suspension for improved handling and driving dynamics.
