Just did some dog walks, cold dog walks, I think even she is feeling it a bit, but she still takes the time to roll in the snow.

nice visit with my brother doing my taxes at my home, realized I was a couple days early for one dividend form so have to wait
til that comes in, but got most of the rest done.

now I have the day free and nothing planned.
looks nice outside but just took trash out without a coat on.

Morning all,
Nice quiet morning here. Not a lot going on just relaxing and enjoying the heat from the coal burning insert. After yesterdays low of -12 F with a high of 14 F it's a balmy 20 F outside now.
Drew you mention stepping out without a coat I do that every evening, when I shake the ashes down in the coal insert and carry them out to the trash can I store them in, in my shirt sleeves after being next to the stove were it's quite warm to were it is quite brisk (down right cold).
May have to do a trash run myself today, I bag mine up and then take it over to the farms dumpster. That's about all that's planned for today.

A good day mowing yesterday, not quite done. A tough area. Only mowed once before years ago. Pretty much all back in mowing due to the terrain. Almost stuck a couple times on the guinea grass clumps. Have about hour or so left of the roughest area.

Say started at -4.9 deg out. now sunny and 22 deg.
Had a breakfast meeting that went well, with good food, some grocery shopping, now home to relax.
I have been getting on the bike about every day, usually try to do 10 miles.
did more medicare learning last night. Looks like it will cost me more when I join, as I need to keep my existing health plan for my wife, and I go on medicare and will pay that in addition. my existing health plan will be secondary payer for me..
Had sent an email to one of my son's doctors, when he was in accident last year. about double billing. They got right back this morning and said I was correct, and will send a refund. Not much, but enough for a meal out.

Need to take christmas tree down sometime. ornaments are off. cat's been climbing it, and I see one really bent limb on it.

I run out on porch to get pellets in without a coat. Makes for a brisk trip.

David, hard to mow with that view...

drove down to check on rv, brushed some snow off, took solar charger off because it wasn't sticking to hood
with suction cups in the snow, ran the motor for ten minutes and that's a wrap.
Stopped at local apple orchard on way home and got some evercrisp apples.
I had bought some organic apples at supermarket that were tasteless, I bet these are really good.

apparently in 2017 I was having fun cleaning out ditches on NC farm.
got good and muddy
and good memories of my turtles before some cretin stole them
this was just before I bought the big Massey. The Kubota 5740 lasted one day on the Massey dealer's lot...

This implement on the Kubota was fun to use. On the twice as heavy Massey, oh boy, what can I go dig up now
