Buppies, glad you guys had a nice drive down to Carolina and meal for her birthday. Hope your skin cancer wounds are healing. Did you see a lot of ice still on your mountains?

Roasted some coffee that is tasting extremely good this morning. I took my wife to Torchy's for lunch yesterday...so good and we "needed it" after all the cold and ice. Then to Costco. $2.79 gas and some groceries.

Della needs a hike today (me, too).

Work today so better have something to eat and get going ! Will need to dress warm !

Went to HD yesterday and bought a GE stackable washer/dryer, supposed to be delivered on Saturday to our Vermont house ! Hopefully that all transpired without a problem ! Got $251 off because of being on sale until February 5 th, so hopefully we can get 10 years out of this unit !

No changes to status on melting. Monitoring icicle by Milk House. Thing is close to 2 feet long now. Pretty cool. LOL.

Need to run errands today and maybe a lunch date with wife. We shall see.

Good Morning
According to the Davis, it’s 0.3°, the Tempest says 0.7°, at least they’re both on the right side of 0! Clear and sunny with a forecast high of 25.

Yesterday started with taking Zoe to the vet for a checkup, the training was apparent, she was much easier to control with all the distractions in the waiting room. She just loves people and other dogs, and her puppy brain gets so excited. It doesn’t help that her enthusiasm is often shared by strangers that have never seen a Landseer ECT, or even many dogs her size that want to pet her. We encourage them though, because it’s all good training.

After we got home, I had to run off to meet someone at the airport for some recurrent training in their Cheyenne 400. He was one of the attendees at the ground school last week. It was interesting in that the entire ramp and a lot of the runway was covered in hard packed snow. He did well though.

I finally got a call from the lawyer from the estate that I’m buying the Lexus from, we agreed to meet on this Tuesday at an auto tags notary to transfer the title and get it registered to me.
Next stop was the bank for a cashiers check, and I have insurance in place to take effect on Tuesday, and the credentials to get it registered and tagged. It’s still at the Lexus dealer that inspected and detailed it while we waited for the lawyer to find the time to work for their client.

Next stop was to the stone countertop place where we got the quartz counters in the old folks home to order another piece of the same material for some cabinets that we are adding.

Then I got back to the shop to be productive. Today will start in the shop, and see where the day takes me.

Good morning! 28.2˚ clear skies heading to the mid 50s with full sun. One more night of temps in the twenties then all the plants get uncovered and moved out of the garage as there will be mild temps for the next nine days.

Got an Email from the hiking club. We will start a new project in Berry Creek Park which is the model airplane park in the neighborhood. We are starting up the old trail making group. We will be removing cedars along the creek, moving rock and making new trails starting next week. I need to spruce up my equipment, its been a while because of the estate liquidation and shoulder surgery, PT and cold and "Farm" job (play).
