Good Morning Dennis ,
congrats on passing. does every restaurant employee have to pass this
No ! The rank and file kitchen workers do not take the Managers course, if anything they might be required to take the Food Handlers course, but not nearly as difficult! I’m hoping that our local regulatory agency, Naugatuck Valley Health Department NVHD, never requires my workers to take even that course, because if they do that would be the end of us serving food to the public ! 😉
Scott, congrats on passing the test! I hope the 27% you missed isn't the salmonella part. :ROFLMAO:
😂Billy, actually I did pretty well on that section ! 😀

Good Morning,
Ct, 14 to start going to 28 with sun now but increasing winds later !

Big relief having completed this course and looking at it in my rear view mirror !
Time to start focusing on other things that are more enjoyable! We are off to the islands again on February 4th for 10 days, so no waking up to the teens or colder for 10 days ! 😉

Kathleen said we have two of the grands later today and work let me know that they want me for Thursday this week !

Drew, good luck with your new to you vehicle!

Hope all have a blessed and safe day ! 🙏

Balmy 48 but the wind chill is 45. I'm cold. Looks like the dirty air from SA is messing up the Air Quality for us. Have a good day all.

20 outside right now, if it hits 30 we will be lucky. No wind though, and the Sun should be out.

With the cold weather, my driveway is just not melting. It is a dangerous ice sheet. I have tried to put down some eco-friendly melt, but it melts and freezes. LOL. I hit the ground hard a few years back and ended up in shock and in the ER. So venturing about, that is always on the back of my mind. Be safe.
I use wood ashes on icy parts of both the driveway AND walkways. I don't need to fall anymore.

It's all in the wording of the contract, and a you can change the wording or add stipulations up to a point. Some things cannot be added or changed. Things like how they are to leave the land when finished can be changed. You cannot use the right-of way land for certain things and they do send aerial patrols. I was removing fence post near the line, and airplane flew by, shortly after a pipeline official was driving up in a pick-up inquiring what I was doing.

I have never heard of a temporary above ground oil pipeline. They do have above ground temporary waterlines when they are fracking at a well head. They pay very little money for this type of lease/right-of-way.
Did you tell him you were minding your own business like he should. Then run him off.

Morning all, 22 going up to 34 and sunny.
Looks like the wind has calmed down.
Moon was interesting last night and this morning, but pictures on phone did not come out as expected.

Good idea to clean out the fireplace, and I need to clean up the trimmings and trim the fig tree.

Drew - congrats on the new truck!

Day job taking too much time and new CIO keeps doing wacky stuff, people are now trying to hide after he got rid of a ton of third party support people. Unknown plan for support is driving us nuts.

Be well,

Moody moon

This morning took a picture of the moon in the back yard. Only problem is the moon has disappeared, another poor software update on Android.

No. This was on my Dads property and it was a pipeline painted post on their right-of-way. My parents had 5 pipelines cross their property I was only involved in the contract of 3 or 4. They are allowed to maintain (mow) and patrol their ROW according to all their contracts, one of those unchangeable points. You cannot alter the property on the ROW like build a structure, make a pond have a road running on top (except for 90˚) or construct a fence. The land now belongs to my cousins kids that raise beef cattle. They have the same 5 pipelines cross their connecting property also. The ROW was not an obstacle in the estate sale to them.

pipelines are a must
we have big Texas Eastern LNG pipelines going through this area just North of
town over to NJ.
anyone who has lost land to eminent domain isn't likely to be happy, and hopefully they
get properly compensated

got my foodshopping done,, going to make a big meatloaf, and adding ground lamb
to mix. 29 out still pretty nippy
