For those of you in the PNW, this might be a good deal for you. I called Brim and they have a bunch of these machines that they need to move.
There's no catch, first payment upfront, and you have to provide your own insurance. Residual after the lease is roughly $40,500.

I'm picking one up on Friday :)

They need to move them...why? Because they are overpriced for what they are and better machines can be had for the same or less money

Could be. For a homeowner, or small ranch machine, this is pretty cheap for a 2 year lease.

I'd have to see the lease with all the fine print before I'd call it a good deal. If lease is $299 a month + unknown amount for tax + unknown amount for insurance and limit of 200 machine hours per year and give it back with no strings attached then min cost is approx. $7,600 or min per hour cost of $19 per hour. IF NO STRINGS ATTACHED then that is cheaper than renting with caveat of: You have to use the full 200 hours, but no more, per year each year. If you only use 100 hours per year each of two years then the hourly cost is getting very close to daily rental cost and is more than a weekly cost per hour ($1281/40 hours=$32/hour vs lease cost at 100 hrs is min of $38/hour) AND your on the hook for the lease whereas rental is a short term daily, weekly, monthly commitment and RENTAL company pays for maintenance.

My break point for buy vs rent is the immediate task has to pay for 50% or more of the full purchase plus maintenance for 3 years. Cost of money and lost opportunity for use of funds elsewhere is also considered.
