Strange Christmas this year. My birthday is Tuesday & have pneumonia . Wife admitted to hospital today on Leviquin IV, bronchiolitis.
Sorry...just venting, hoping things will improve!

Good evening all. 38ºF for the start, clear sky, moderate breeze. windy in morning, light wind with moderate guts in afternoon, and high temp was 53ºF. Made Malt-o-Meal for breakfast, used mower to grind leaves found 6 golf balls in back yard. Made run to back for cash and new calendar, after lunch was bike ride, then nap. Fish club Christmas party for dinner.

Drew hope you got a good snow and food shopping went well. Whether or not oatmeal is mad it is still yummy in the tummy and that makes me happy.
Ron glad shopping went well. Hope you find a good way to get FS and FS2. Glad shop cleaned up. Nice cardinal

Not our fault mostly they made mistake. Interesting how long it took. Did not finish city street yesterday got 268 tons down asphalt plant quit and left. Earliest we can finish after new years. Coffee has been poured. 15° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 21° with mix of sun and clouds. Today is Winter Solstice of 2024. Good sign it is going to get colder. Shovel snow off walkways. Mounted filters on painted board yesterday. Then did some shopping with neighbor at Rural King. Found couple deals for Ammo. Today should be a good one to conserve energy.
Ice yesterday was not thick enough for Doves to walk on.

Good Morning
27° with a couple of inches of snow on the ground, going to be clear and colder as the day goes on. Forecast to be in the the low teens this time tomorrow.

Yesterday sort of followed the plan, I did get the shop rearranged and the plow on the tractor. Looks like I’ll use it this morning, so the snow doesn’t get packed down into ice as it gets colder. Hopefully I can still discern the edges of the blacktop, because I never got the markers in.
The property transfer went well. I need to change the language on the right of first refusal to his siblings slightly before it gets recorded, but the transfer is complete otherwise.
The snow put the brakes on playing music last night, some of the guys have a long drive, so we lit the fire and hung out in the old folks home.

It will be light soon, I’m going to get plowing before wife goes to farmers market, and kids show up, they are moving in today. Of course that means that we need to continue moving out. One of the hardest things to move is the over 1000 vinyl records. I’m not sure what their final disposition will be, Spotify is working great, so I’m not taking them to the old folks home, but I’m not ready to dispose of them either. So it’s upstairs in the shop for now.

I might make pancakes after plowing, especially if the kids are interested, then it will be back to cleaning and organizing in the shop, FedEx says the new welder is arriving today, so I’ll have to set that up, and move the old one out. Then we will see what the day surprises me with.
Still waiting to the executor or the estate to transfer the Lexus, they are not in any hurry about it. However their clients are….

Good morning TBN!!
Below freezing this morning. Supposed to get to get to 40 with mostly sunny skies on this first day of winter. I'm ready for the first day of spring already.
Went back to HF for a mounting plate for the winch I bought and got my free bucket. I wanted to put the winch on my newer 4 wheeler but I just don't see away of doing it. I may put it on a receiver and install it there or put it on my older Artis Cat. The Artic Cat is only 2 wheel drive and a 250. Really wanted to put inn on the 400 4x4 but there isn't enough room and I don't want to tear out the whole front end to probably not have enough room anyways.
Got some walking in and running the dog on the 4x4.
Then got a call from a neighbor that wanted help loading some very large oak logs into his trailer. Those were some heavy chunks of oak. But we got er done!

Of course that means that we need to continue moving out. One of the hardest things to move is the over 1000 vinyl records. I am in the same boat Popgadget, over 750 and I rarely listen to them. Thought about selling them but I know they wouldn't bring a satisfactory price. So they collect dust and take up room. I should explore selling them again as vinyl seems to be making a comeback.
Not sure what is on the agenda for today yet but it will probably be in the shop. This body doesn't like the cold anymore!!
