You work hard on that property.

What do you mean by stabilizer? The rear hitch bars? If so, that is a lot of stress on the backend and the PTO in the general, no?
I try
Broke this one right at ear where it attaches.
I think it can be fixed when I find it

Have you got a hydraulic top link?
When I'm backing into heavy stuff, I shorten my toplink which lets the mower eat it's way back in.
Yup, I do that too, lift the rear. This stuff is so tough it will still push side to side. Much of it is over 6ft tall. Grows in clumps.

I'm beginning to think lions and tigers are going to come out of that jungle David has on part of his property.
it appears able to swallow his LS
all that rain, everything grows like mad
might be worth investing in paying to get it done with something well over a hundred hp and
then keep up with it.
I hope David finds his three point parts and wears more than flip flops hunting around that tall grass.
he might find a thirty foot Hawaiian viper in there...

I never liked mowing in tall grass. Scared to hit an animal living in there.
And if it was real tall, it always meant a double mow, once cut tall as I could, second
somewhat lower. Much less lumpy that way.

nothing like getting finished mowing a field that really needed it.
Pigs, mongoose, mice… never got anything so far.
The cattle birds were having a feast on all the bugs. Noticed they also like the coqui frogs - a real plus.

Borrowed this wire rake. Hope to run over the clippings and get lucky

What does your CPA brother recommend? That to me would be critical.
he doesn't, he still does his on his old office custom software, and mentioned the IRS direct option.
but he has to know turbotax; I want another set of eyes the first year.
If IRS direct works by March, we will look at that together.
If not, we'll do turbotax together.

I'm not going to order the software until March 1st to make sure there are no retroactive tax changes.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.5C and it's presently 21.8C, partly cloudy & fairly calm.

Yesterday's Parish Council meeting started early for me as I received a call that the "Anglicare" house (an old Rectory) had a toilet cistern fault. Good LORD! That's the fourth separate toilet problem this year. I've ascertained what needs to be done for the repair (it's the filling valve) and I've got a 'spare', which was salvaged from the first toilet repair (cistern replacement) job.

I don't know why I kept that part, other than it was too good to simply throw out.

The meeting went well. (I asked our Minister if the toilets in the Rectory where working fine ;) )

So, today's task is (hopefully) repairing that cistern.

That's about it, take care all.
I'm having digging squirrel (or some critter) problems in the front yard.
I'm still experiencing a lot of bandicoot holes around the house & property. There must be a fair number of grubs down there in the ground for them.

I have a cable that plugs into the OBD2 port and connects to my jump pack that keeps things alive for a battery swap to avoid that.
That's a great idea.

While on the subject, does anyone recommend a particular OBD2 scanner? I need one worthy of helping me figure out which airbag circuit is messed up.

Really nice day, got up to 66F, light breeze. No breeze right now, but temp dropping fast. Short days.

I bought one after changing the battery on my 19 RAM because it had all sorts of codes and would not go in any gear but 1st and reverse. I got kind of a fancy one as I had no idea at the time how far I was going to have to go in the programs (of course I found my old one about a week later).
I got HF's kind of up scale one; it mentioned battery reset, electric parking brake reset and a few others.
It has worked good the few times I've needed it.
