Good Morning
62° and drizzling. That’s the high for the day before it gets cold and windy. It’s been raining for over a day, but we have gotten less than 1/2”. The good news is that at that low rate, it all soaks into the ground instead of running off.
Yesterday was slow paced, but got a lot of small tasks accomplished. Starting with updating the databases and retrieving my hat from the little plane. We started moving artwork from the house into the old folks home, starting with our Quaker marriage certificate, followed by some oil paintings. Here’s one of Emily, Zoe’s predecessor.
You can see what a nice day it was outside as well.
Started a fire around 4 and sat in front of it until bedtime.
Drew’s neighbors accepted our offer on the Lexus, it goes to the dealer for state inspection on Friday. Not sure when the sale will actually happen as it’s in an estate.
Today I need to modify a cart for the 285 amp MIG welder that is on its way here. It’s too big for the cart that I have, but not by a lot.
I’ve got a lot of coins, like buckets full of them in the house, I’ve got to get them into liftable containers so I can carry them downstairs and take the to the bank to use their coin counter. The kids are taking a pool on how many dollars they will add up to.
Then it’s back to hanging art on the walls, and cleaning out yesterday’s ashes from the fireplace.
Airport Authority meeting tonight.
I should probably add getting the driveway markers installed and the blade on the tractor to that list. No plowable snow in the forecast, but I hate to be caught napping.
