Good morning!!!!

Drinking first cup of coffee. 31° with cloudy skies. Heading to 33° with cloudy skies. Weather is going to get cold for a couple of days. Made a trip to HD. Got a Ryobi battery operated inflator. Tried it out. Works good. Just set desired pressure and let it run. Is on sale for $25. Neighbor took a vacation day. Took our 22 rifles and pistols into woods and shot off a few rounds from each. Sassy took me for a walk later in the day.
Hawk landed on front porch eavestrough. Cutting off sun light at my computer. So I took a photo shot.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.
Ron, what psi did you inflate that hawk to?

Morning all!
36 going to a heavy rain filled 58. Looks like high wind gust forecasted also. Will have to keep an eye on the bulkhead as it has a tendency to leak into the basement with this type of weather.
Off to the eye doc for testing this morning. Having my eyes dilated so the wife will drive. After that we will head to the store to see what sold {if any} and rearrange or swap out some stuff.
Finished up the tree project. Waiting for the customer to come pick it up:

Working on a few more ideas for the store. Quick sellers pay the rent!
Here are two examples. I think the longer one will be it.

This tree will be a gift. Was playing with colors.

That's it for now.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
How much for the little round ones in the last picture? Do you sell by the ton? 😂

Morning all;
A balmy 41F this morning supposed to get to 51F with rain all day long. Then a possibility of snow showers early morning tomorrow, with a forecast high of 34F and 29F for a high on Friday and Saturday. All of the snow we had is gone and it's soggy out.
Not much on the agenda for today maybe a bit of grocery shopping then start some pea soup with the ham bone from Christmas.

All stay safe and get well

Morning all, 60 going to 63 and misty, more rain, we need it.
Hearing slowly coming back.

Drew great news

Today if I get time, need to fill on the Forms for Financial aid for my son.
WE already know we won't get aid, but need to fill in the forms in order to start talking to collegs about grants etc. Might be more painful than my ear today

Be well,

view from my desk all day yesterday.

Good Morning
62° and drizzling. That’s the high for the day before it gets cold and windy. It’s been raining for over a day, but we have gotten less than 1/2”. The good news is that at that low rate, it all soaks into the ground instead of running off.

Yesterday was slow paced, but got a lot of small tasks accomplished. Starting with updating the databases and retrieving my hat from the little plane. We started moving artwork from the house into the old folks home, starting with our Quaker marriage certificate, followed by some oil paintings. Here’s one of Emily, Zoe’s predecessor.

You can see what a nice day it was outside as well.
Started a fire around 4 and sat in front of it until bedtime.
Drew’s neighbors accepted our offer on the Lexus, it goes to the dealer for state inspection on Friday. Not sure when the sale will actually happen as it’s in an estate.

Today I need to modify a cart for the 285 amp MIG welder that is on its way here. It’s too big for the cart that I have, but not by a lot.
I’ve got a lot of coins, like buckets full of them in the house, I’ve got to get them into liftable containers so I can carry them downstairs and take the to the bank to use their coin counter. The kids are taking a pool on how many dollars they will add up to.
Then it’s back to hanging art on the walls, and cleaning out yesterday’s ashes from the fireplace.
Airport Authority meeting tonight.
I should probably add getting the driveway markers installed and the blade on the tractor to that list. No plowable snow in the forecast, but I hate to be caught napping.

I have a big jug of pennies I need to take in to the coin machine.

snagglepuss is outside looking in. But it's 60 deg out and she is under the covered side porch.

Good Morning!!!! 44F @ 7:45AM. Cloudy. High 67F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Last time I checked, neither Chase or Bank of America would accept loose change, Paul. I'll be darned if I'll pay the coin counter machine at the grocery store, or roll it myself. So it continues to accumulate for my heirs.

Chico lost it's most precious landmark earlier this morning when the Bidwell Mansion burned to the ground. This follows when a vandal cut down the historic Hooker oak, a giant of a tree that used to stand in the courtyard of the mansion. Seems like we can't have anything nice anymore that some looney comes along and destroys.

Fingers are a little sore this morning, but less stiff and typing is almost back to normal. Still some numbness, though. I got a few small jobs done around the house yesterday, but the most strenuous was unpacking and laying out a queen size camping mattress for the van. The instructions said it needs at least 5 days to decompress, and to do it outside. Glad there's no rain in the forecast.

Not sure what I'll get into today, but the new phone is supposed to be delivered. Fingers crossed the data transfer goes smoothly.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

65°F AND .51 inches rain.

Made good progress on a smallish project yesterday.we have an 8 ft wide area between the back of kitchen box and the garage box. The roofs overlap. Originally it was just an open area but we soon found that didn’t work due to how the rains came, hence adding some patio doors at the ends. But open above. A great help but a wind driven rain would come over the top. Yesterday I started closing in the top with clear polycarbonate panels. About half done. Should finish today. Today’s panels not only get cut to length but have to match slope of the roof. Luckily only 2 sections about 6 ft each.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
