Traded up before tariffs hit

Tariffs are a negotiation tactic...not the end goal. Also there are kubota plants in the US.

Nobody knows what the tariff threat will bring for sure. Kubota is a Japanese company so their products will probably be affected by whatever comes.

Those tractors are made in the US though.

Did you snap more side-by-side photos before the old BX was taken away?

I'm presuming given your use of trading.

My first Kubota was a 2002 BX22.. Loved that thing..Like the Swiss army knife of yard tractors. I had the TLB with a 54" deck and grass catcher. I think it had 300 or so hours on it when I sold it to a friend who still has it today.

I've read Illinois
Kubota engines & transmissions and large parts come from Japan, or Asia. It maight be assembled in USA.
Don’t know if the rumored tariffs are based on parts, assembly, headquarters, etc.

Odd, Kubota has an engine plant in Lincolnshire, IL.

I wonder what they actually do there

My understanding was the larger series tractors were the only ones assembled here. The smaller units were manufactured here.

"Hey honey, we need to get rid of this pain in the butt, almost new tractor and get a new one ASAP before the tariffs kick in in 3 years. This one has a scratch on the hood that won't buff out. No telling what it might cost to trade then."

"Yes dear, the checkbook is in the drawer."

I think 21 years and a few generations is reason enough to upgrade if one has the resources.

No need to give OP ****, whatever the reasoning or excuse to make the upgrade.
