Ten years ago my wife and I went to a local dealer to buy two new cars with cash. We were within $150 for both and sales manager wouldn't budge. We drove to another dealer 90 miles away and we got two identical better cars for less money. The salesman said he would have paid $150 of his own money to sell two new cars.
That was a lousy experience you had and I'd give them a bad review on their website.

Timing can make a difference too as when inventory lingers…

A dealer with too many losses isn’t around long…

Sometimes creative sales people get around the numbers by offering oil service or detailing, etc.

First new car I bought was a honda civic 1985 model for the wife. A couple of yrs later it threw the fan belt and lunched the engine (cam shaft on the main belt). Towed it into a dealer and they offered a ridiculously low trade in.:( I walked out, across the street to a Toyota dealer. Bought a Camry with a better trade in allowance.
The look on the Honda sales team's faces when the Toyota wrecker came across the street for the Civic was worth every penny of the upgrade.:LOL::LOL:

My latest pet peeve is car dealers that list online and don't seem to know what the vehicle is priced at. I called to make sure the vehicle was still available, drove 70 miles to the dealer, took it for a test drive, and when they quoted me the price, it was $4K higher than the listed price. I even showed the manager the printout from their listing, made two hours previously, but he wouldn't budge on price. I walked out, got in my car and was backing out when another guy came out wanting to know how they could still make the sale. I told him that at that point, I couldn't trust dealing with them, and left.
You should report them, or it will only continue:

$500 per violation
According to the Indiana Deceptive Consumer Sales Act (IC 24-5-0.5), businesses found to have engaged in false advertising in Indiana may face a civil penalty of up to $500 per violation, as well as court costs and attorney fees145.

You drove 180 extra miles to "save" $150 on a ~$60k purchase??? My time is more valuable than that.
I haven't bought a new vehicle in over 50 years, but my experience is that used vehicle dealers aren't all that willing to negotiate price. They seem more willing to give you a spare key or maybe some floor mats, but budge very little on price. Reason given is that margins aren't what they once were.

Used car-related peeve...used vehicles that only come with one key/fob. Do people hang on to the other when they trade in? And most, if not all modern vehicles require an automotive locksmith to program these things, so you're out a good couple hundred bucks if you want a duplicate. Some makes will allow you to clone a fob, but you need to have 2 working ones to be able to do it.

Never had to do it, but apparently with FCA/Stellantis vehicles it's as simple as buying a fob on eBay, for example, and then program it using AlfaOBD.

As i recall, some sellers also offer to program their fobs.

Saved not only $150 but, again, got better (& matching) cars for a better price.
That $150 refusal was a slap in the face.

Here's a peeve: food & restaurants.
We just now returned from a (good actually) highly rated restaurant just a few miles away.
Sunday brunch, but not buffet.
I like French toast so I ordered that & coffee. I wished I had my phone/camera. A platter: 6 pieces of Texas toast topped with this huge slice of the sweetest cheesecake you can imagine. Everything smothered with whipped cream all covered with confectionery sugar and maple syrup. Lord knows how many carbs & calories that was.
I ate half and feel like something blew up inside me. It did come with a bowl of fruit...only thing healthy.
Years ago restaurants served real food and why not a senior portion for less money?
