thanks! But of course they were told to be there. Dogs like kids, need structure in there lives.

Indeed . Rarely is there a bad or untrained dog but rather a bad or untrained owner.

Just semi-rescued this beautiful Pyrenees. Very sweet dog, just standing in middle of the road a couple of blocks from my house with cars driving around her. We stopped the car and I got her out of the road. No tags. She looks like a Pyrenees that lives about a block from where we saw her, so I put her in my car and we drove to the house I thought might be hers.

Turned out, she wasn't his dog, but he knew her and her owners, and offered to keep her in his back yard until the owners returned home. I love GP's and wanted to keep her myself.... Very sweet dog, came right to me, let me pet her and jumped right in the car when prompted.

And here I have pick up my 150# girl and wrestle her into the truck, while she does everything to escape.
I do like my GP and Anatolians, but car riders they are not, but will go on a long run with ATVs or on their own.

I was wondering how I was going to get her into the car, but then I thought I'd just open the hatch, pat the floor and call her. She jumped right in. Rode just fine for the 1 block we had to go, although, she did want to sit in my wife's lap.

The collar she had on looked like one you might use with an invisible fence. She was just so confused, walking around in the middle of the street with cars driving around her. It was a 40 mph road and I was afraid someone was going to hit her right in front of us.

Her name is Molly. I REALLY wanted to just steal her...
I have always liked big dogs GP's in particular, but I know they can be a nightmare because of the shedding, feeding, pooping, etc. They really need to be an outdoor dog, but we like ours inside and cuddling with us, which is why we have a Shih Tzu.
