I want to connect a 3PL backhoe to an AgKing DQ554... but only have spring-loaded levers for the hydraulic outputs. What am I missing? :(
Any hints appreciated.

The tractor the backhoe was on has continuous and monetary flow, controlled by levers staying in that position. Each outlet has a male and female connector. The DQ554 has 4 female and one male connectors. That is 5, instead 2 x 2 which is what I would expect. There is certainly something I do not understand.

Another edit: Is this something that can be easily be modified?

Edit 3: This sounds like inlets and outlets; though I still ponder about this description.

Looks like none of the two remotes have detent to hold the lever in place and are both return to center. So an easy way to deal with it is to use something to hold the lever one way. Bungee cord, some sort of string, a fancy bar or hook setup, etc.

What ptsg says works. Our JD also came with lever-controlled remotes. We use bungee cords to hold the lever in position. From the rear, the remote hoses run forward where they hook to the pressure and return ports on the FEL loader control valve.

I originally did it that way back in 1989 when we put the loader on just to see it work. I keep meaning to change to a neater setup, but it's worked like that ever since.

One way to change to a cleaner setup would be to interrupt the pressure line to the rear remotes and install a simple diverter valve. The diverter will then either power the old lever-controlled remotes or a set of uncontrolled remote connectors. Downside is that only one system works at a time.

There are other ways to clean it up. A nicer way is to scrap the old FEL control valve to a modern style with a power beyond port. Then feed that new front FEL control valve with all the flow from the hydraulic pump and use the power beyond port to take flow back to the rear remotes. That way is better because all the systems have pressure at all times.

There are lots of options.
BTW, those Chinese operator instructions in the first message make fun reading...
