I was talking about gullwing vehicles, not falconwing vehicles.

Putting expensive high tech falconwings on the only occasionally used rear doors, while the 100% utilized front/drivers doors, only get traditional doors, is pretty gimmicky only, unless it’s a taxi. I also find the mismatch to be kinda unattractive, as well as illogical.

You’re going to park in a tight space, so you can go through the rear doors to climb up through to the driver’s seat?

No, you stated that the comments in this thread, (know your audience) about lack of towing were in some way related to a 1400lb genset.

I corrected you by stating that was intellectually dishonest, that wasn’t the argument being made. And I don’t see where anyone said that an EV ā€œcannot towā€. It was stated that they lack range when towing a real load.

Then you asked for my reference. You don’t like my reference, and now go back to what you now call a 1200 pound genset. Which was never the argument being made in this thread. Know your audience. Strawman. Know your audience. You are speaking to an imagined audience. The video I posted, was actually already posted in this thread, and where the towing comments came from. Not from a model Y towing a lawnmower šŸ˜‚

I suspect the 3000 - 4000 lb. trailer is actually a good metric for measuring the range of a CyberTruck, as that's about the weight of the campers and boat trailers pulled by all the weekend warrior doctors and lawyers, that likely make up the key demographic buying 6-figure priced EV truck toys.

I suppose you are right. My only need for a truck would be to pull a 6000 pound tractor/implement, at about 8800 pounds. I can pull my mower at about 3000lb with a basic SUV 300+ miles.

To be fair, when we were considering the CT, it was quoted at about $50k. Now, that didn't happen. I do see sales are slowing for it, so maybe the prices will adjust accordingly.
