When you are beautiful, young and sweet there always seems to be a knight in shining armour willing to help a damsel in distress...

My wife is a terror on wheels, and despite having been pulled over almost regularly in her 20's, never got a single ticket. Always managed to sweet-talk her way out of it.

Then sometime in her early 40's, she got pulled over and actually received a ticket. I got a lot of mileage out of that.

When we were dating my ex was the same way.
We were coming back from somewhere with 2 of her cousins that were here on vacation, 2 of her friends, her and me in a 2 door Dodge Omni. Not one of us with a seatbelt, 20 mph over in a residential area and smelling of booze. Everyone of us underage.
Big blonde smile and cleavage shot and awe shucks and off we went with a warning.
If I had been driving I might be just qualifying for parole.
We've been divorced 32+ years.

I had a very pretty young women working for me back in California. There was an off ramp that you couldn't make a

left at the stop sign when you got off of the freeway. She mentioned that she always did. I said you're going to get a

ticket. She said that all she has to do is show her baby blues and she's ok. She got a ticket.

I was driving the Crane, just got off of the freeway and pulled over by the Michigan State Police Weigh Master. The Crane isn't

licensed, instead we had permits for the state, counties and some cities. I was showing her my permits, it was very cold.

The woman State Police Officer (very nice looking, about 35) said let's go sit in my car. She's checking my permits and asking

me about the weight, I said that it wasn't my regular Crane and wasn't that heavy. I asked her, you think you enough radios

in here. There must have been 5 or 6 radios in the car. All my permits were up to date, she let me go.

My son called me for advice on signing up for Medicare.
I told him you have to be older than 55 to sign up for Medicare.
He reminded me he will be 65 in a few months. How the heck did that happen!!!!

Mom was so excited the first time I had her to my house for dinner, 25+ years ago. She felt like she'd "made it", in her words. Now I'm old enough to register for AARP, and I wonder if she's half as excited about that.
