Getting them arrested is tough around here. Going further takes time and money. They have more “rights” than you and I.Recovering items that you paid for, is darn near impossible. Frustration, aggravation and perseverance isn’t much help, just leads to more frustration.

I'm not even concerned with getting scumbags arrested, as has been said dead men tell no lies.

Seems to me that it took a lot of extra effort to destroy the cargo trailer door and puncture the sidewall. Given that the items stolen were chainsaws, it looks to me like they were looking for items to turn into quick cash. #1 suspicion is this is out of control stealing to buy drugs unless it's some nut job with a lot of strength running around with a crowbar/demo tool breaking into unoccupied storage.

Tenant had her car stolen and police said go online to file report... she works hard and doesn't have much.

Something in the car allowed her to track the location and she called police and no help...

She went to the location and the person said don't know what you are talking about.

She started screaming and yelling so much someone called the police saying woman in trouble.

Two police cars showed up and she got her car back... she had title, police report, keys, etc.

No one was arrested and one guy said his backpack tools were in the car and he retrieved them.

Police said we don't know how your car got here but you have it back...

It's come down to this...

Unbelievable!

I would have asked the Police Officer if it was HIS car would this have gone down the same way. Would he give the thief back tools to steal more vehicles?

I must live in a unique area, it seems like they still arrest people and throw them in jail.

Around here it seems like most of them get arrested and then released on their own recognizance to return to court.

We still arrest them here, but across the river is another state and less likely to get into trouble.
So drive here, drive back across and all is fine :-(

Though no state in this area is as bad as the West Coast states...

Sorry you got broken into, that is always so painful.
