If I go grocery shopping and forget my list, guaranteed I'll forget at least 3 items.

For a while I had one of those squeeze together to open change pouches. The were rubbery, with a slot in the top and when you squeezed it you could add or remove change. They were often given away as store promos.

I liked it but the rubbery material it was made of tended to slightly melt and get sticky in the hot weather and that didn't work for me. I didn't have much change, or really any money so no big deal. If made better, they might still be around today.

Used to carry enough coins in the pouch to buy lunch. Try that nowadays.

Myself, I can remember $2.50 a carton on base and in the Carolina's. Other places they were higher I did kick that habit 12-14 years ago.

I quit in 1986 because I wasn't going to pay $20.00 a carton.

When I was a teen, I thought Monte Python was the funniest movie I ever saw!!! Had a great time at the theatre watching that movie.

Many year later I thought it would be great to show the movie to my kids. “You won’t stop laughing” I said.

Well - it didn’t work as planned. They thought it was “dumb”.

Oh well.

I remember that as a teenager, "King Kong" scared the daylights out of us. Many years later very young kids laughed at it.

The last time I bought coffee it was so expensive that I'm thinking about dumping it in Boston Harbor and drinking tea.

I used to buy four or five cups a day. I'm so annoyed at the currant cost that I might buy one cup a month.

I make the first pot at work for the 5:30am shift arrival…

In my entire life never tasted let alone consumed coffee… tried coffee ice cream once and gave it back.

I doubt a hospital could function without coffee and my co workers appreciate my effort.
