Good morning,
70° now high around 72° cloudy and showers today Winds NE 5-10 mph dew point 67° and slowly dropping down to 60° by late afternoon. Yesterday afternoons boomers and rain broke up and went around us.

Picked up the tree limbs that came down and since the bucket wasn’t full decided to pick up some branches I tossed over a stone wall awhile ago for later pickup. Got the bucket full and stepped back right onto a hornet nest I didn’t notice. Didn’t think I could still move that fast lol. Half dozen stings on one ankle, fortunately I’m not allergic. Retrieved the tractor after about an hour, at least I had shut it off.

No plans for today except pick some tomatoes and cukes, and hopefully see some rain come down.

Dang Ken, bad luck...prayers for improvement. We have dropping yellow poplar leaves, too...first to show signs of drought...and the tupelos, look like Autumn red dressing on the trees.

RNG, glad things worked out for your motorcycle friends...scary.

NH, that's a lot of stings. I've been lucky this year, fingers crossed.

My lovely wife and I took Della up to the mountains to swim in the deep holes of a mountain stream during a hike. Took a tennis ball this time, and had a blast watching swimming and fetching...I wade in just over my knees. Ended the day sitting under the picnic shelter at Yoder's eating a 4pm lunch...brought home a delicious strawberry pie.

Good morning, the low is 51 and going up to 75°F. Wind calm. Mix of sun and cloud.

I've been threatening to sharpen the mower blades since May, I might get to it today but don't hold your breath.
I've got a pair of L.E.D. spot lights for backup/rear work lights for the Kioti that have been waiting to get installed since last fall. Got the harness I needed in April. They have only been waiting 4 months. Maybe that will get done later this week.

looking forward to a sunny morning and then it all goes downhill.
looks like rain through Saturday.
not good for car show on Saturday, that's American cars.
Sunday it dries out for the foreign cars.

my brother has worked the show for the Community Assoc for 40 years, I asked him
what happens if it's pouring rain on Saturday and he said only a few times have they cancelled.

I have some errands to run this morning. Then home to continue working on clothes to pack for trip.
Two months on the road, need summer stuff, cold weather clothes, and not a lot of space to store it, just two small hanging
closets. One I converted to drawers. This is where another three feet of rv would have gained me a lot more storage.
got out the iron yesterday and ironed a few dress shirts, haven't done that in a while but want to have at least one set of nice
clothes to take with me.

NHBX glad you are ok from bee stings. Doctor who delivered me died of three bee stings. I don't think I'll ever forget that, one of my
father's best friends, played bridge with my parents for 20 years. Some bees are just vicious, like yellow jackets.

RNG, good luck with insurance. As an old Personal Lines underwriter, I see this from all angles, stockholder companies have obligation to make profits for stockholders, not making money, charge more, as always. This is why I like mutual companies, the insureds actually own the company and large profits aren't the goal. California and Florida are real problems for insurance companies, unfair to those of us in other states where claims aren't as high or often.
We all pay for each other, that's how insurance works, but I am not losing any sleep when folks with houses at the shore scream over their flood insurance bills. I sure don't want to pay more because many want to live on the edge.

at least I won't have to water this week. I do need to check on my friend's house later this week, make sure her sump pump is working.
I got up early this morning and house was warm. HVAC was on off. ??? no power interruptions, why did it go to off?

Good Morning
73°, 96% humidity this morning. High in the 90’s and thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon.
Already uncomfortable out there.

Yesterday’s progress was slow but steady. I did get the AV wiring in place. It’s hard to plan for the future, not knowing what will come. The fact that we aren’t sure where things are going didn’t help. I made provisions for having equipment in two different locations in the great room. Was able to put a conduit in the wall for one of them. For the other one I ran two 8K HDMI cables through the wall along with speaker wires.

I need to do some securing and ty-wrapping this morning, still need to do the dryer vent, and what ever else I forgot.

Never did make it to Costco, maybe that will happen today.

I still have to tie the sewer line into the pump tank about 45 feet away, run and underground propane line and run the conduit for the generator feed to the transfer switch. I’m getting an excavator dropped off next week to help take care of those chores.

Ct, 68 to start going to 84 or so ! Completely overcast with showers likely especially this evening and sounds to be quite heavy !

NHBX, glad you didn’t get stung more than you did ! Yep, I think I could move quickly with that scenario also !

Was hoping to go for a hike or long walk this morning but am waiting for lighter looking skies before I head out !

Still need to do some trimming around the Ct property and the pool will need some chemicals today also ! Not much planned besides that.
