Thanks for the info on the extenders. Do the wifi extenders extend your current signal or are they a new router?
The TP-Link system hooks up to the ISP's cable modem, and I disabled the WiFi network on the cable modem so that the TP-Link nodes handle all WiFi in and out of the house.

WiFi extenders typically halve the speed of the link with every hop, while mesh node speeds are only degraded by intervening material, same as an extender.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.4C and it's presently 12.7C mostly clear with a moderate, with the odd gust, wind. There was 1.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

Tuesday morning is senior morning at supermarket, only 5% off but something
... which is why Wednesday is 'into town' day for me. Senior's Shopping, all day, for a 5% discount. I do need to get a few scripts at the Chemist too.

I also need to start the process of applying for the Old Age Pension which, for me, starts at age 67. I'm months away from this occurring and I won't get anymore money as my Military pension will be reduced by the amount of the OAP, but I want to ensure that it's a smooth transition. Especially as the 'change' will happen during a holiday period (31 Dec).

The best thing about it is that I'll finally get a Government Pensioner Card, which will mean a lot of discounts. Especially electricity.

That's about it, take care all.

Oh, and L4N, I'm reminded of an adage; "You only need a licence if you're caught." 😁

Looks like Sophie will be cleared for surgery p. Had a problem with her white coat blood pressure, never got a good reading.
Dr suggested we start monitoring at home.
So ordered this

Another Prime special. His only guidance was to get upper arm cuff. Anyone here care to comment?
Yes, upper arm gives a better reading, more accurate.

Successful day shopping, got everything on the list, plus a few things jumped into the cart when I wasn't looking.....

$513 at Costco, $278 at Shamrock Foods. I think it was the highest amount I ever paid at either place.

But, the freezer is now stocked. If I tried really hard, I might be able to fit 2 packs of hot dogs in there..... not kidding.....

Getting ready for the 21 y/o GS to come back for his last semester at the university. Boy, the last 3 years flew by.... can't believe he is going to graduate already!

BIL had another PET scan.... he lit up like a Christmas tree. He met with the oncologist today, starting him on 2 different / new chemo drugs tomorrow, radiation on Thursday. Metastasized everywhere. He hasn't given up, which is a very good thing.

Drama should begin shortly.....
