good morning all
up too early, hoped I'd sleep in.
58 out now, going up to 82; lot cooler than I've seen in last week.

have to go food shopping this morning, then back to mow parched lawn.
It has a uniform green back again from that quarter inch of rain, but that won't last long.
I have to do a lot of watering today, friends took care of my garden, but I need to bucket water out to
the new trees and shrubs I planted.

chopped up my first tomato for dinner last night and it was delicious.

today is trash day and not sure if trash company will take my old storm door. I forgot to call them first.
not sure I want to haul this heavy thing out there and then find I need to haul it back.
one thing for sure, not laying it flat on the ground on a sunny day. That one burned spot I have is enough.

Good morning,
51° now highs in the mid 70’s and sunny today, winds NW 10-15 mph, dew points in the low 40’s should be a nice day for some outside chores.

Yesterday turned out a lot sunnier than predicted, had a nice ride to the coast for lunch, lots of traffic so headed back home after eating.

Coffee does taste better on these cooler mornings. Pay some bills and then head outside.

good morning, 60 going to 83

Pressure washed the tractor to test it out and worked great. Not sure if it was a fuel issue since the carb looked very clean but changing the spark plug has put the life back into the old machine. Idle is too high so will adjust that next time using it. When at the pressure washer place picked up 2 pails of soap to use with it. One for regular car wash with a shine component added and one for oily surfaces.
Will try out the soap injection drawing from the pail directly and using the lance with adjustment on the handle for concentration changes.

A bomb scare yesterday where son works. Fortunately none found.

The elbow for the dryer vent came in from HD yesterday. May work on that

Good morning, the low is 53 and going to a high of 72°F. Wind WSW 7 mph. Increasing cloudiness.

North Bay today, the driver is picking us up at 9 ish and we will see how much we can get done before he has to be back. Depending on where he lives, I might break even on this ride. Drivers are paid from their home to and back to their home. $0.30/kilometer or $0.48/mile.
I might come out on 'top' on this one.

After I get back I might get at the SMV sign and redesign it. It is only three zip ties I need to install over again. All the hard stuff is done.

That is my day planned out for me.

it’s a safe bet it was the plug. The Honda electronic ignition is very sensitive to the resistance of the plug, as the plug wears, collects deposits, and the gap changes the voltage to fire it changes and the ignition doesn’t deal with it well. A common issue is kickback when starting, it is not intuitive that changing the plug would cure that. Adding to that is that the plug can look perfect and still be a problem.

We are still under a heat advisory. No chance of rain. Will try to cool the garage off a little this morning so I can work in it.
