Catawba Attachments 60" Grapple

Torvy - that is one really fine looking setup. I really like the "covers" protecting the hydraulic cylinders. Your expanded metal is a much heavier gauge then mine.

It's a totally fierce looking unit now.

Thanks. You would be shocked at how little it cost. I couldn't have even bought the metal for what he charged me to do the whole thing. God bless good neighbors!

I had to pay a little extra for the cylinder guards, but not too much. I like that the mfg had them as an option.

Looking for opinions. I just installed a 3rd function kit on my tractor and am looking for a grapple. I found the Catawba 60" rake grapple and it looks like a great product. Does any one have any input on this unit. I have attached the link as well. Catawba 60 Rake Grapple

Did you go with the Catawba? Researching this as well for upcoming purchase. I agree for the quality and the price they look good and I can be there in 2 hours.

My decision comes down to weight with a BL100 FEL rated at only I believe 1300lbs.
The Catawba 54" is 212lbs but no bottom teeth (2)4" cylinders, grease fittings. $2200
The Catawba 55" is 300lbs and has bottom replaceable teeth plus 3rd lid arm, (2)6"cylinders, grease fittings. $2600
WR long RBG3-56 is 238lbs good bottom teeth, no 3rd arm, (2)6" cylinder but on top not in back.$2500
I have a Branson 2400H with BL100FEL, the dealer has Carolina 54" 250lbs $1500 to me and local to pick up. Single lid arm which I like, don't like the separate arms.
Cylinder on top but covered.
Thoughts? Think I may just go with dealer who sold me the tractor for $1500
