Are ATVs/UTVs overpriced?

Every picture you post shows you freezing your ass off.

Comfort is a big part of it. I use a Toyota truck in the winter becase...it has the best heater ever.

But you bundle up...

It's almost like some folks are more comfortable in certain climates than others, like we're all individuals. You presume he is freezing his ass off, but that's a matter of personal taste.

I loathe heat, and through I loathe cold too, I can add clothes. No one wants to see me get naked.

🤣

Torvy, I respectfully disagree. What it means to me, when I see this overpriced stuff still selling is, a lot of people do not understand how financing works, and what the total cost of financing will be. They decide they have to have it right now, it has to be bigger and or faster than their friends have, and they jump in with the lowest down payment possible, and the lowest monthly payment, stretched out to forever.

I paid $3500 for a like new Polaris Sportsman (6) years ago. Today it's worth more than that used, and a new one is about $10k 🤣

Prices are stupid... But people keep borrowing. They will stop someday.

We use it for work around the property, and it does a fair bit of small acreage field work. For $3500 it was a steal. I wont replace it until it's dead...

You can disagree on opinions. Pricing is a fact of Economics. Literally nothing can be overpriced unless it is not selling.

We're humans, we have a very narrow range of comfortableness...40-80 normally. Why do you think people spend so much money on UTV's with heat and AC?

It will take a lot to convince me that being exposed to snow, wet, cold, and wind are just an individual thing. Kind of like pissing on my leg to tell me it's raining.

I use to bomb around the ranch on my little 4 wheeler in the winter. I learned a long time ago it's miserable and got wiser.

The top 20% have no concerns over money. The Covid era produced over 7 trillion dollars that needed to find new homes.

There is still a lot of money that needs to find an asset.

So do we.
Credit card is paid off every month.

I have my accountant pay everything off after 32 days. Then you get the CC rewards and build some credit. The interest on 2 days is minimal.
