I have a Woodland Mills WC68 chipper and was wondering where else I can get replacement knives other than from woodland? There's is a "K" stamped in the knives but I have been unable to find out who makes them. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Post dimensions of your blades, and hole spacing. New?

Looking at other chipper knives, $215 for a set of 4 hardened steel knives, including all the bolts may be a bargain.

No help on your question, sorry. I bought a spare set of new blades when I bought My WC68 2 years ago. Less than $2000 back then...) So far i haven't needed to flip the blades nor have I use my spare set - not needed as far as I know. I understand that the blades are getting dull when I see a lot of saw dust in the chips. Is that correct? So far, none of that.

Good luck on your search.

$215/set looks like a good price to me (particularly compared to double that for Wallenstein knives). Just curious, why are you looking for another source? Is is because of the price, quality or lack of availability for the WM product?

With my Woodmaxx 8H I know the knives are getting dull when I get long stringy bits in with the chips. It depends on the wood that I'm chipping- some species are more prone to this than others.

I regrind chipper knives for local arborists and I can usually get at least 3 regrinds from a set and I charge 50 cents a lineal inch which is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new set. When you do the knives, the anvils also need to be resquared.
