Everybody on TV begging for money telling me I can solve the World's problems for less than $0.68 a day.
Food insecurity, cancer, abused pets, chronic masturbation...
If I gave everyone less than $0.68 a day that asked I'd need the less than $0.68 myself.

Stuff is worth... The Mona Lisa is worth $200m. A stupid sports card is worth millions. M Ms dress is worth a mil.
None of this crap is worth that kind of money.
It's what people with money are willing to pay because they have too much.
The rest of the sheeple just ooh and ah.

Awww. I have a Stan Musial signed baseball card I paid $45 for in 1969 - the year he went into the HOF. He was my guy back in the day and the greatest STL Cardinal ever.

It makes me happy every time I see it on the shelf.

It’s not worth much other than to me.

Just like my grandmother's oil paintings, the deer mount which my grandfather shot back in 1962, the wool blankets I have from the sheep my other grandfather raised at the end of WWII...

It doesn't matter how carefully I park, my truck still gets door dings. Another peeve, likely a repeat; store clerks who think their main job is talking to their friends. I try to patronize the local general store but there is one woman there who I call "useless 2". (They finally fired useless 1)

I went in today and she was talking to a customer. As I walked through the store I heard all about her cell phone experiences. I walked up to the counter and she was still talking. After a minute or so I got tired of waiting and asked "Are you here to work or talk?" That did not go over well.
They usually have two people working and the rest of the employees generally stay busy; stocking shelves, working in the deli, cleaning, or working the register. Her jobs seem to be running the register and her mouth... not necessarily in that order. Yet she's been there for well over 20 years...

Tell them what my buddy tells them, “why don’t you exchange phone numbers and call each other tonight”

On the subject of cell phones, I hate it when people are in a restaurant, usually a fast food joint, and are on their phone talking loudly, like everyone in the place is interested in their conversation. Then they give you the evil eye if you stare at them.
