I have a new project tractor that I have hit a brick wall on have a farm pro 2040 getting fuel to the injector pump in from the injector pump. A little bit of fuel is going to injector one, but getting no fuel to injector to. I am at a brick wall and would like some advice. I have checked fuel lines, gravity, flows, good.

Does your fuel injection pump have a cover plate on the side? Does it look similar to this?

In that case you have three options:
1) Send the injection pump to a local diesel shop, or thepumpguysc.
2) Purchase a new injection pump.
3) Attempt to repair it yourself. It should be noted here that individual parts are not available, and there is no service manual for the injection pump.

I have a Farm Pro 2010 and Someone played with the diesel pump and it has some timing issue since then. I don't think is the timing in the diesel pump is in the engine the valves. Can someone help me?

A friend of mine played with the diesel pump and it has some timing issue since then. Problems starting. The tractor is Farm Pro 2010.

Ahh.. I see now..
I’ve personally never timed one but have seen similar pumps timed in the same fashion..
If u look at the mounting bolts.. u should be able to see where the 3 bolts were tightened up on the pump mounting flange..??
Hopefully he didn’t go thru the front of the engine to “time it”..

Can I ask why he was adjusting it in the first place.?
