I had this problem once. I could only partially understand the 'english' I was hearing. I finally asked the person what country they were in. They told me and I asked if I could speak with somebody in America... low and behold they put me thru to Denver CO - that person I could understand easily !

Capital One and Cabella's come right to mind. Don't have either anymore. I have US Bank. All people on shore, mostly in Texas. With an 825 Trans Union, I have my choice.

The older we get the more things that bug us. Or we just don't care who we piss off.

I was always that way. The only difference is that I used to try to be nice... it never worked. Now I just act like my usual cranky self, and nothing else has changed.

On the other hand now that I am older not much gets me riled up. Peeves are mild. Besides which being pleasant make young people (that inexplicably took over things) much more inclined to not put me out on the ice flow.

Us old old farts had the foresight to raise world temperatures enough to do away with ice flows.
And, besides that the warmth feels good on our old rickety joints.
