Online reward systems or reward systems of any kind. Grocery chain around me stopped sending out hard copies of printed coupons now you have to go to your online account which I don't have and manually select e-coupons before going to store. Than when checking out have to bring coupons up on your phone that I despise using and let the check out lady scan them from your phone so I've been told. I have rarely frequented store since this was implemented a few months ago.
I've cut way back on my visits to Harbor Freight since they only do e-coupons now. Not gonna buy a smartphone just so I can save $10 on a tool I don't really need or to get a free flashlight.
Supermarket chain here has some specials in their weekly flyer that you need to have an account, go online and "reserve" the items, then enter a phone # at the checkout to get the advertised sale price. Sometimes some good deals, but more trouble than it's worth for me. No other chains less than an hour away.

I don't do apps and it seems just about everyone is pushing apps these days.

The only app I use is Fazoli's. I use the points I accumulate to get free meals and especially free brownies! I usually go there with a couple of friends who don't use the app, and they give their receipts that I scan to get extra points.

TSC neighborhood rewards for various reasons mostly due to confusion on redeeming and actually using reward certificates that expire I'll add. Taking my business elsewhere. Despite the fact I've gotten a few good deals there.

TSC cashiers who repeatedly put the hard sell on getting a store credit card. You know who I am, you know I've already turned down the offer two dozen times in the last three months. Why are you still giving me the long pitch about your stupid credit card, and asking "are you sure?" three times, every time I get to the register to buy a $4 eye bolt or a $13 chain hook?

Second to that, cashiers who want to start a conversation with every customer in front of you, while you're waiting in a long line. No one cares about the weather, and you've never had any good response to either answer offered after "did you find everything you need?" Just move the line along, already.

Another thread brought this peeve up. Why are there sealed automatic transmissions with no dipsticks? My wifes car is like that my ex wives car was like that. I am stubborn and guess I like to check or add trans fluid without going underneath it and pulling a fill plug.

Late to the party…probably been covered already. But turn signals. Why do people hate to use them???
From:

Forty-two percent of offenders said they don’t have enough time to signal their intentions. (Eternity is forever, nitwits.) Twenty-three percent admitted they were lazy. Seventeen percent said when they did use their signals, they forgot to turn them off. Oh, and here are my favorites: 12 percent said they changed lanes too frequently to bother (it’s true; I’ve been behind them on the Schuylkill Expressway many times, and they all drive BMWs), while seven percent said not signaling “adds excitement to driving.” You know what else adds excitement to driving? Sudden death.

I don't think they hate to use them, they're just too lazy or distracted to move that little lever a half inch one way or the other.

Then you have those who turn the signal on as they go around the corner.
