38° felt really chilly out this morning.
Sunny today. Leaves rained down here yesterday also. Oak in back pretty bare.
Need to call to straighten out wife’s Dr bills. Took me hours yesterday to go thru and find their mistakes.
Need to clean pellet stove also.

Good morning! 38˚F heading to the low 50s clear skies, N wind.

PT was not upset I had switched to the 3 wheeled walker after I explained I walk smoother and with the tray and basket I can actually do things. The goal is to get off all aids soon and put full weight on new knee now.
My range of motion slightly decreased because of swelling and I was up one pain pill for yesterday because of a very intense PT.
I also am now having a problem with the glue on the bandaids, it is causing an itchy rash and these are latex free bandaids. Wife will go to drugstore this morning to try to find something and I will put in a call to the PT and the DR.
Even though my PT session was not as flexible as before my PT said I was doing excellent as their goal after 6 days is to get to 90˚ and I was flexing 103˚ yesterday, 3rd day.
Thursday I get the staples pulled, yea!!!!!

Nice yellow roads guys! Our trees are green or brown (dead) from the drought during the Summer.

Well, Sunday's shop wiring work came an abrupt halt, when I missed the last step on the ladder. I landed on my already tender left leg and saw stars from the F*%)(#g pain in the knee! Thankfully, I didn't fall down. I tried the ibuprofen, lidocaine cream and whiskey treatment, while watching sports the rest of the day.

Yesterday, no whiskey but kept up the meds and the knee was a bit better, and today it's better still. Dang, it hurt. I did manage to get the main stretch of car lift circuit wire pulled and connected in the panel yesterday, then I stopped. Good thing I'm retired and no pressing work to get done.

Lesson learned - PAY ATTENTION on ladders.

3 new skin cancers oh joy. Parathyroid doctor on Monday morning, Monday afternoon plastic surgeon to remove skin cancer found months ago, kidney specialist in about two weeks. Hope he can stop the damage

hairs cut, stopped in at Heaths in Lambertville to talk to owner about putting in a new pcv hose before
I leave. He asked for the VIN, which I just sent him. I think a bad hose/fitting is the cause of the weird whistling/rattling sounds at certain throttle level
apparently this is a known condition

then went grocery shopping for a few things, and back home to head out soon and pick the peppers.
Need to wash the car also, waiting on washing rv til just before I leave.
though I looked at ten day weather forecast and it's supposed to be raining heavily on my first day out.

Buppies, good luck with docs. They took half my thyroid out, nodules, thankfully benign.

Lesson learned - PAY ATTENTION on ladders.

I worked as a roofer for a few years (when in my late teens), mostly 2 and 3 story houses. Back when supplies (felt, tar, shingles etc.) were usually brought up by humans on ladders. Learned to pay attention REAL fast. Healed a lot quicker back then.

ordered one of these, think it's the cause of the noise/vacuum leak.
not easy to get to, basically nothing is easy to get to since engine is half way under the firewall.
it's why the oil dipstick feels like it is eleven feet long. you just have to keep pulling...

I'm wondering if one of the odd connector endings is just loose, but since it's a known weak point, better to replace it.
along with a new pcv valve
