Good evening all. 58ºF for the start, mostly cloudy with clouds building through day, and high temp was 85ºF. Chapel to start day, then made pancakes for breakfast. Finished wood stacking and got tarp over stack. Got kindling in wheelbarrow and moved into garage,. Live stream went better today. Did get nap in, and grilled brats for dinner. Got the last of the checks for this months bills

Got the lawns cut and moved some leafs around.
Got a tree trimmed etc.

Walk behind blower had cracks in the gas tank.
Think i should fix and with What? or replace.

Weird, Earlier in the year the tank was fine, stored in temp controlled garage. Two cracks, one at top seam and one on front

I have successfully plastic welded them.
Feel free to bring it over, if you want to give it a go.

Having said that, if a replacement is readily available at a reasonable price, I’d go that route long term.

Don, I showed my wife some of your auction pages...she was ready to bid, but wasn't up for driving down to pick up. Hope it ended well. What is next step for the things that did not sell?

Thanks, looks like under $100, so not awful. Good to know plastic welding is an option.

Need to remove and see how bad, but thinking more cracks due to age might be around the corner, since nothing has hit the tank causing the current ones.

I got all the fuel out, so remove after work today. Need to get the number off the valve plate to verify the tank part number.

IIRC Hess and Sunoco were the last two companies that refined their own fuels instead of subbing it out to be blended at a big refinery.
