Do you prefer to pick up your mail or is there no delivery in your area?

Have to pickup, no delivery at all. As a “ bonus” for that we do NOT have an official USPS street address therefore not in the official address database so many use. Often challenging.

A good day in town, nice breakfast. Surprised to see so many empty shelves at Safeway, like whole sections. Soph commented to cashier and she said they were short help.

Also a good day resetting my APs. All but 1. Of course that’s the most difficult one in most challenging place. Did the reset, but it didn’t appear in the app. Sadly I didn’t check the power first. Back on the ground there is power at the POE, but need to check cable and go back up. Tomorrow.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 45° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with rain showers in afternoon. Yesterday was one of those drizzly days. .11" rain. Did get out and put nets on garden pond. Still need to shut water off and take pump out. That can wait until it gets colder out. Went out and did some fence post repair. Replace a couple that had rusted off and straighten out a couple more. While I had planned to do a conserve energy day yesterday it never happened. Some yard cleanup today.
Keeping watch.

good morning all
rain never really materialized, only .07 on gauge and just clouds for today

am hoping my BIL and his son come over this morning to install the steering stabilizer
on rv. It's not hard to get to, just have to lift rv up, and I can do that by just raising front stabilizer
rams on some blocks. It's the crawling under and working on my back that is too hard on my neck.

still waking up. Billy Horton coffee from Canada is sort of like Maxwell House, ok but nothing special.
My puerto rican blends were much better.

hope you all have a great weekend.

let's talk exhausts, old school exhausts
I think the pipes on the truck look silly, too long, cut them back, put tips on them, etc
BUT, was this a 50's thing? Is it actually more period correct to have the long tips? They certainly weren't stock.

I was a sixties kid, not a fifties...

would you change them?
already has glasspacks (quiet) so nothing is stock here

the oem lights were a piece of art deco

I would cut the pipes in front of the rear axle and put turn down tips on.

As for Tim Hortons coffee, I will drink it if it is bought for me, but if I have a choice I get their orange juice instead.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

40.1F going to upper 60s, Sunny day forecasted.

errands successful, rain varied from drizzle to downpours and even a few moments of pea-sized hail. Outing included the Scottish restaurant I mentioned a few weeks back, and it was quite good! Totally blew the dieting and totally worth it! Mom had fish&chips, Mrs had Shepherds Pie, I had a Scottish meat pie with mashies and peas and carrots. That was preceded with appies, which were Scotch eggs, Reuben rolls, and a big soft pretzel. Mrs figured WTH and had the pumpkin cheesecake dessert, which was a Rather large portion —- we were expecting a traditional wedge of No great size, but what came out was an individual cheesecake about the size of a softball cut in half, and it was more of a mousse than traditional cheesecake as well, very light and fluffy, with about a half-inch gingerbread-spiced Graham crust beneath.

upon returning home, the couch was calling and nothing else got done while that all digested…

this morning is unload and stack firewood, then later is the Annual Pumpkin Roll in town, so we will do that and then later this evening we will return and unofficially assist the post-event cleanup By shoveling a large amount of smashed a pumpkin remains onto a tarp on the trailer to add to our composting pile and also get a bunch of seeds for the chickens to enjoy. Free biomass!

there was a Tim Horton’s on I-81 in central Virginia in the vicinity of I-77 interchange, we stopped there on one of our moving trips, it was good but not Andy thing “super-duper-I-have-to-go-there-every-chance-I-get” good, but on my trip to Pennsylvania a couple weeks back it looked to be gone.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe productive blessed day!
