good morning all
little rain this morning then more tomorrow, high in upper 60's
off to PT this morning, my last for a while.
David nice job on electronics
RNG, my nephew is 22 going on 14, in some ways sadly...if anyone would take care of this old
truck, yes he would. He is super conscientious and careful.
I've already had the long pros and cons with his grand father. No air bags, everything inside hard as can be, and really won't
go over 50 mph. Personally I think the truck is very cool looking and maybe what grandfather and grandson need to do is make
a street rod out of it. It already has a custom steering wheel that tilts, so why not add power steering, it's not fully stock anyway.
I told my brother I threw out my white wall cleaner forty years ago, he will have to hunt around to get some.
Those Offenhauser carbs were running rich, brother was upset wasn't running right after waiting for it over a month in shop.
He would have more fun dropping a crate small block in there, but those Offenhauser intake parts sure are pretty.
My brother started out working on Solexes and Strombergs with Austin Healey 100-4s in our farm garage as kids. I'm pretty sure he
would like more reliability and ease of use. Not a good choice for the latter with a truck with no power steering and no power brakes.
maybe they should convert it to an EV...that seems to be the current rage
Ron, have a yummy donut for me please
