Good morning!!!!

Funny thing is, with no real intention, I hardly drink anymore. I don't like having to pay the piper the next day. Maybe a beer once every few weeks....
I quit drinking absolutely on purpose, and that was the reason as well. I didn't realize I was hung over all the time until I wasn't hung over all the time. That was 27 years ago, and I don't miss that feeling at all. I did have a couple of drinks with my coworker while we were in Minneapolis earlier this week. Had a JD Honey and Coke before dinner, and nursed a Stella Artois after we got back to the hotel. Only got through about half of the beer, which is pretty normal for me these days. That was the most I've drank in many years.

The wind got up 10+ mph. I learned many years ago that you don't want to mess with a 30X40' tarp in the wind. Monday is another day for that.
I gotta go to North Bay on Sunday.
Instead of messing with the tarp we removed the hoe and rock bucket from the tractor and put the back blade and 'V' plow on. Also reorganized the outside storage area.
Today wasn't a total loss.

I just got to where I didn’t have time to drink.

Good (Sunday) early afternoon. Overnight Low of -0.1C and it's presently warmed up to 18C, cloudy with a breeze.

I'm back from Church and now, after doing a few chores, the rest of the day is His.

Knowing the TBN policy of no politics, I'll simply say that 'my side' of the referendum overwhelmingly won. Kyle wondered in an earlier post how we, as a country, wouldn't have to wait weeks for the result and the answer is that Australia has a single Electoral Commission. Each State/Territory have their 'own' Commission but they come under the authority of the national Commission. All elections, referendums and plebiscites are run the same way, including the scrutineering of the counting. It's all paper ballots, marked with a pencil or biro (pen).

Anyway, I'm fairly tired after a long week so I'll leave this at that. Thank goodness I'm retired so that I can have a long sleep-in tomorrow... and, yes, a couple of bottles of Pinot Noir have already been consumed in celebration.

That's about it, take care all. (Again, apologies for skipping pages of posts)

Good evening! A perfect day for the conclusion of the estate sale. I think we sold a little more than half. The estate sale now slips into online bidding and you will have to pick up the item at the house, no shipping so that limits it to locals. Items should start appearing online by tomorrow evening. My trailer did not sell so it will go in the auction with a reserve. Kyle was eyeing a flat bottom boat and a boat motor.

Yay!!! Been watching those races on another forum (which I think even mentioning the URL would get me banned here) and there has been much celebrating on the start of the turnaround down there. 😎👍
