Good Morning
48 with a high in the upper 60’s under a clear sky. Rain starts tonight, continues through Saturday.

Yesterday’s trip to Palm Beach was interesting, lots of thunderstorms from the Carolinas south, some in large lines. We passed over them with some slight diversions.
As to cabin altitude vs airplane altitude, here is a 7000’ cabin when the plane is at 43,000.

You can see that the cabin has a 8.6 psi differential to the ambient pressure at that altitude.

I didn’t get home in time accomplish anything else than to get the trash and recycling to the street.
I’m very happy with the new Prius, it’s averaging 216 mpg. In just over 500 miles, it’s used less than 1/4 tank of gas.

Today will start shortly in the shop, finishing up the speakers and getting them out the door. Then lots of clean up, maybe some RC with my son, and music this evening.

Drew, Two weeks
Good Morning, A warm 71˚F before sunrise heading to the mid 80s with the winds shifting from the North at 2PM. Tomorrow morning the morning temps will be more Fall like - in the 50s.

Kilroy, I can mail your drills this morning PM me the info. I think I can get the shipping down to under $20 now that I reduced the size and know what to ask for - USPS flat rate box.

Popgadget the prime vehicles seem to be the most practical and versatile. An all Electric vehicle is OK if you can always charge at home and have a full charge when ever an emergency arises, and can stay in their limited range, but that would be impossible until your world gets smaller.

Good morning, the low temperature is 42 and going to a high of 54°F. 30% chance of showers. Wind NNW 6 mph.

The first tarp went on okay, and now the zero turn is under cover again. Z-turn, lawn sweeper, power washer and juniors' tricycle are all under cover along with some 16' lumber.

Going to attack tarp two today.

Tuesday the 17th looks like it might be a good day for tarp three, but that is a long way out.

mostly;
the plumber did come on Tuesday and determined that the quickest way to solve this problem would be to run a new 3" line from the sink with zero 90° elbows in it and a couple of clean out 'T's. He comes back next week to finish the job. Considering that he worked me in with everything else he has on his plate, I think he is O.K. This is also the same plumber that did the pipe work on my bathroom renovation. He only charges $80.oo/hr. He is also retired.

Have a safe day all

good morning, 49 going to 67 today

Stacked a couple of more loads of firewood yesterday and went to pick up from the orchard market.

The recent news from the Middle East brings up this amazing story of how the old country saved almost 15000 lives from certain death during WWII. I shared this with a couple of people.

One more quick favor — if you could put a drop or two of penetrant on the stuck drill where the shaft goes through the frame, the apes at the USPS bouncing it across the country should have it all freed up by time it arrives 🤣😂🤣😂
