Good Morning!!!! 75F @ 5:15 AM. Sunny. High 91F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Busy day yesterday, starting with a surprise visit from a tree trimming crew that took out three trees on the property that were too close to the power lines.
Then the repairman from AT&T called, says he's working on the land line problem, and will call when he's done. Instead he dropped by, verified that dial tone was back. Nice guy.
And then the gate opener people got back in touch, had me run some tests, and confirmed that the radio receiver and battery controller were bad. And that they're both covered under warranty.
Meanwhile I was installing the weight distributing hitch on the new-to-me box trailer. Got a good start, but need to find a level straight spot somewhere to finalize the location of some of the parts. Also had to cut off the battery box and emergency brake switch from the trailer tongue because the eight point button head screws that held them on were impossible to remove any other way. What were they thinking?
Finished up with a little windshield and mirror washing, and some last minute additions to the van's contents. Headed south in a few minutes.
Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
